The New Denpa Men coming to iOS, Android on March 10

On March 10th, Genius Sonority plans to launch the iOS and Android editions of their free-to-play role-playing game, “The New Denpa Men.” This announcement was made by the developers themselves.

Initially debuting on the Nintendo Switch on July 22, 2024, “The New Denpa Men” also offers cross-platform compatibility with its iOS and Android counterparts, allowing seamless gameplay across all platforms.

Some specifications will differ between the iOS, Android, an Switch versions. They are as follows:

Differences from the Switch Version

Due to the OS specifications, “Normal Catch” cannot be played on the iOS version.
The iOS and Android versions feature “QR Catch.”
You can enjoy Denpa Men Catch by scanning a nearby QR code.
The iOS and Android versions does not feature “Together Catch” or “Offline Catch.”
The iOS and Android versions are basically controlled by touching the screen, but you can also play with your game controller.

In this installment, you’ll encounter the newest addition to the “The Denpa Men” franchise where you capture elusive creatures called Denpa Men that float about, befriend them, and embark on thrilling journeys together.

This will be a novel kind of game, where fundamental play is complimentary throughout, categorized as a consumer game, yet managed day by day.

Beyond the role-playing game (RPG) aspects like adventures and character progression, this collection includes elements you might recognize, such as designing your personal island and its interior, along with fishing. The game also comes with fresh additions like “Together Catch,” which introduces cooperative play to the series for the first time, and “Voucher Collection,” where players can gather “Vouchers” dropped by monsters.

Key Features

Denpa Men Catch – Denpa Men are little creatures born from the radio waves flying around you. You can find them, catch them, and become friends with them through “Denpa Men Catch.” The “Offline Catch” feature allows you to catch them even when you are offline!
Denpa Men Colors and Antennas – The color of the Denpa Men indicates resistance to enemy attacks. A DENPA MEN with an antenna on his head can use special moves.
Equipment – Different equipment increases resistance to enemy attacks, provides special effects, and changes DENPA MEN appearance.
Battle with Monsters – Battles take place with simple controls and quick progression.
Decoration – Various items can be placed and decorated on “My Island,” the base of your adventure, and in the radio-controlled houses on the island.
Communicate with Denpa Men – At the Denpa Men Box, you can communicate with the Denpa Men. Talking to them or giving them gifts may increase their happiness level.
Fishing – You may see fish in the sea around the island. If you obtain a fishing rod and bait, you can enjoy fishing.
Together Catch – Together Catch is a feature allowing you to catch Denpa Men with up to four players playing nearby. The more participants, the easier it is to find rare radio humans. Together Catch can also be enjoyed in offline mode called Offline Catch.
Voucher Collection – This is a mode that allows you to collect “Vouchers” dropped by monsters at the end of battles. You will be rewarded when you finish collecting a group of vouchers. Vouchers can also be given as gifts to friends or used in battle. When you use vouchers in battle, you can summon monsters. The summoned monsters can attack enemies or heal companions.
