The creators behind the beloved PixelJunk series, Q-Games, have unveiled their upcoming project titled Dreams of Another. As of now, details about this new venture remain rather enigmatic.
This third-person adventure game, titled as such due to its emphasis on exploration and action, will be available on the PlayStation 5 this year and will also support PSVR2. The core concept of this game revolves around the idea that “creation cannot exist without destruction.”
This game appears to be a unique type of shooter, where instead of damaging or demolishing objects with gunfire, you create or manifest items in the game world.
As per the PS Blog, the game employs “point cloud technology,” which presents an extraordinary and distinct visual aesthetic by displaying numerous dots on-screen that coalesce to shape the environment and items within it.
It’s piqued our interest; we can’t wait to learn more about this extraordinary game – let’s hope it’s not too distant.
