As a gamer, I’m super excited that Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds 2 drops this Fall, right before Halloween! It’s packed with an immense new adventure for RPG enthusiasts like me to lose ourselves in. However, it seems they’re asking a pretty penny for this sci-fi title – it’s the first Xbox-published game announced to cost $79.99, so budgeting might be key!
For the Standard Edition, the Premium Edition is an upgrade priced at $99.99. It grants you access up to five days before the official launch, as well as a DLC pass for two upcoming post-release expansions. Additionally, it includes a digital artbook, soundtrack, and the Corporate Appreciation Premium Pack. This pack offers the Golden Moon Man armor, helm, melee and ranged weapons, and the Golden Sprat pet.
Pre-ordering will grant you the Commander Zane Pack as a bonus, which consists of a themed armor set, gun, knife, helmet, and Earth Directorate drone companion. On top of that, it’s available for Game Pass members to play from day one. If you choose to upgrade to the Premium Edition at $29.99, you’ll get early access and the pre-order bonuses ahead of time.
The Outer Worlds 2 launches on October 29th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
