At last, we’ve got a release date for the eagerly awaited game “The Plucky Squire”. It’s not much longer now. The developers, All Possible Futures, and publishers, Devolver Digital, have made the announcement that this action-adventure title will be available next month. Additionally, they’ve shared some significant information about the game’s launch on PlayStation 5.
According to co-creative director James Turner, as announced on the PlayStation Blog, the game “The Plucky Squire” will be accessible for players who subscribe to either the Extra or Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus at its launch. This means they can play it without purchasing it on release day.
“Turner announced that The Plucky Squire will be accessible for members of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium at its launch, making it part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. This means that if you’re a member, you can start playing the game as soon as it comes out! We can’t wait to welcome PlayStation players into the world of Mojo, where they’ll join Jot on his amazing multi-dimensional quest.”
It’s unclear if Devolver Digital and All Possible Futures will release the game on Game Pass simultaneously; they haven’t made that announcement yet. However, on PlayStation, this could draw a larger player base, which is beneficial, particularly given the crowded launch schedule.
The Plucky Squire releases on September 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
