The Proms 2024 schedule: Full list of programmes

As a classical music enthusiast with over two decades of experience attending the BBC Proms, I am thrilled to share my perspective on this year’s September lineup. The energy and excitement that emanate from these events are truly unparalleled.

The BBC Proms have returned, bringing an extensive schedule of musical performances to the Royal Albert Hall and various sites around the UK.

Several distinguished composers and musicians currently active in the industry will join us for the annual event, along with modern artists such as Sam Smith and Florence + The Machine.

Once again, BBC radio and TV stations, as well as iPlayer, will transmit the events for those who couldn’t obtain tickets or make it to the shows in person.

As a long-time classical music enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share my perspective on the upcoming Proms 2024 schedule. This annual musical feast is a highlight of my year, and I can hardly wait to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of performances that lie ahead.
