As a fan myself, if you haven’t come across The Quintessential Quintuplets yet, it’s a well-liked romantic manga and anime series that centers around the character of Futaro Uesugi, who finds himself in an unusual situation – he’s been hired as a tutor for five sisters who are not only identical but also possess distinct personalities.
In this fresh game titled “The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy, the Abyss, and the Magic Academy“, the storyline is reimagined within a magical school setting. Here, you’ll find yourself responsible for mentoring five inept sorceresses, who coincidentally are the offspring of a noble family.
This role-playing game is set in a dungeon from the perspective of the player, reminiscent of the initial Phantasy Star series on the Sega Master System. As of now, it’s scheduled to debut on September 18th in Japan for both the PS5 and PS4. However, there hasn’t been an announcement regarding a Western release as of this moment.
Indeed, it’s quite likely that there will be a localization since last year, two visual novels inspired by The Quintessential Quintuplets became available worldwide through the PlayStation Store. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed as soon as we get any new information.
