The Rock Spotted Near WWE Bad Blood Arena Ahead of Rumored Return

As a lifelong WWE fan and someone who has followed The Rock’s career since his early days in the squared circle, this news is nothing short of electrifying! The Rock’s return to WWE, especially after his heartfelt gesture towards Apalachee High School, adds a layer of depth and emotion that’s often missing in today’s world.

48 hours after my triumph at WWE WrestleMania 40, I made a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw to deliver a message to the new WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. I declared that while I needed to step away for a bit, I’d be back, and when I return, it will be for you, American Nightmare. The segment ended with me giving Rhodes an object, saying, “Don’t ever break my heart again.” This summer, I was busy filming The Smashing Machine, wrapping up production on the UFC biopic in August.

The Rock Spotted in Georgia Ahead of WWE Bad Blood

It might be a matter of hours before The Rock is back on WWE television.

On Instagram, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson shared that he’ll be in Georgia this weekend to catch the Apalachee High School Wildcats play on Friday night. It marks their first home game since the high school was hit by a devastating mass shooting in early September – the deadliest school shooting Georgia has ever seen.

In a post on Instagram, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson expressed that the players, coaches, teachers, and everyone in the Apalachee community, along with all its students, represent resilience, love, and strength. He pledged to be there tonight for them, no matter the outcome. In his view, these kids from Apalachee have already won, being undefeated in spirit. See you tonight, he added, let’s go!

It’s worth noting that WWE Bad Blood is scheduled for the following night in Atlanta, just 58 miles from Apalachee High School.

It’s not uncommon for The Rock to show up at a WWE event given his prior local commitments. For instance, he graced the stage on an episode of WWE SmackDown in Denver back in September 2023, as he was already there for The Pat McAfee Show and ESPN College Gameday covering CU Boulder’s football game against Colorado State.

Concerning McAfee, he started the buzz about The Rock’s potential comeback on WWE Monday Night Raw. A few days ago, McAfee could be seen questioning WWE Champion Cody Rhodes if “the large figure” might appear this week. When Rhodes inquired, “Which one?”, it wasn’t explicitly The Rock who was referred to; however, fans have picked up on the hint, as McAfee is a close friend of The Rock and could be hinting at ‘The Brahma Bull’.

Moreover, it’s said that WWE Bad Blood will feature Rhodes and Roman Reigns versus Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in its main event. Given the showdown between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell, WWE might need an extraordinary event to make this tag match the final act. The potential return of The Rock could lead to his confrontation with Rhodes, spark a feud with Reigns, or reintroduce him into Sikoa’s interpretation of The Bloodline.

WWE Bad Blood goes down this Saturday, October 5th.
