The Rogue Prince of Persia Overhauls Art Style, Adds New Story Content on November 21st

As a seasoned gamer with years of rogue-like action platformer experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about Evil Empire’s upcoming update for “The Rogue Prince of Persia“. The Second Act update promises a visual overhaul, new content, and even localization in multiple languages. It’s like they’ve taken my gaming wishes and granted them all at once!

Although Motion Twin’s Windblown has garnered reasonable interest since its early access launch, Evil Empire’s The Rogue Prince of Persia has been in development for several months. It has incorporated new weapons, progression paths, biomes, and other enhancements into the rogue-like action platformer. On November 21st, it will unveil a fresh art style with The Second Act update.

Apart from enhancing the scenery with greater depth and refinement, it also updates The Prince’s appearance in both gameplay and dialogue interactions. They assure us that the game content will essentially be doubled, which includes brand new landscapes, bosses, enemies, a complete additional act to the story, improved narrative for Act 1, and user-friendly features like multiple save points.

In addition to what’s already been announced, we’re preparing localization for languages such as German, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Korean, Spanish, and Russian. Keep an eye out for detailed update notes when the update goes live in a week. Moreover, if you’re upset about The Prince’s current appearance changing, the developers have hinted at potential new skins coming up in the future.

The “Rogue Prince of Persia” can now be played on your PC through Steam Early Access. Take a look at our review of its initial release version.
