In addition to the video they’ve released, The Sims 4 has also dished out more information on the exciting features that players can look forward to in each of the newly announced kits. Here’s a rundown of what each of these new elements brings to the classic virtual life experience.

Kitchen Clutter Kit

The “Kitchen Mess Kit” for “The Sims 4” introduces fresh Build Mode elements to enhance the realism of your Sims’ kitchens by providing additional everyday items. These clutter items encompass lunchboxes, cereal boxes, a novel kitchen timer, and a dish rack where dishes can pile up.

Restoration Workshop Kit

The latest Restoration Workshop Kit for “The Sims 4” introduces an area where your Sims can repair broken appliances like microwaves, coffee makers, refrigerators, and stoves. This kit offers items for Build Mode such as tool-filled shelves, woodworking benches, fuse boxes, and other essentials to set up the workshop. Your Sims will need their Handiness Skill to use this space effectively. It’s still undecided whether these repairs are new interactions or just a fresh location for existing repairs and upgrades.

Golden Years Kit

With much anticipation from fans, the latest Golden Years Collection introduces fresh Elder Sim fashion styles to bring a touch of novelty to this life stage. This customizable Sim wardrobe offers new garments for elder Sims, ranging from casual workout attire to elegant evening wear. Additionally, the collection includes innovative accessories such as toupees and eyeglass retainers.

The pricing details for the fresh kits haven’t been officially disclosed yet, but it’s expected that they’ll retain their traditional price of $4.99 USD per item, similar to previous kits for _The Sims 4_. All three new kits are scheduled to drop on May 1st for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
