During the conversation about his newest work, October shared that it was his competitive spirit which drove him to create an album that surpassed the excellence of his previous one.
Speaking to Fox 5 New York in October, he expressed, “There’s been a lot of talk about Marvin’s comeback: ‘I hope his second album is as great as the first.’ So, I decided to put extra effort into reaching out to more fans and making an impact on their lives. I wanted to discuss love, pain, and everyday life in my music.
The Indiana-born artist’s second album, titled “October Nights,” was his debut release under Snoop Dogg’s personal record label, Death Row Records. When asked about collaborating with this music icon, the singer of “Touch On Me” expressed that it has been nothing less than “fantastic.
In 2016, I encountered Snoop, and from that point forward, we have had a fantastic connection. He shared this with Fox 5. “Having him by my side and being part of the same label has been nothing short of amazing,” he expressed.
