The Witcher 4 Will Enter Full Production Soon, CD Projekt RED Confirms

As a dedicated fan with years of Witcher lore etched into my memory, I can hardly contain my excitement as CD Projekt RED gears up for The Witcher 4! Having been a part of this magical universe since the very beginning, I’ve grown fond of Geralt and his adventures, and it’s heartening to know that the team is making substantial progress.

It’s been evident for some time that CD Projekt RED’s next major title, perhaps named The Witcher 4, will likely dominate the gaming landscape. After being in pre-production for a while, earlier this year it was planned to transition into full production in 2024, and with promising developments, it appears they are on track to meet that deadline.

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that, according to CD Projekt CFO Piotr Nielubowicz, the next installment of the Witcher series is about to transition from pre-production into full-blown production. With over 400 talented individuals working on it, we can expect some magical things soon!

“The Polaris team, diligently developing the upcoming title in the Witcher series, has made significant strides. Soon, they’ll be able to complete pre-production and move on to the full-scale production stage for this exciting project.”

Nielubowicz likewise discussed “Orion,” a subsequent installment to “Cyberpunk 2077” that’s currently being developed in its initial stages by CD Projekt’s brand-new studio located in Boston.

Over the past six months, our Boston studio has been equally bustling. Here, a team of veterans from CD Projekt RED, supplemented by newly recruited skilled developers, have been diligently preparing for another installment in the Cyberpunk series, tentatively named Project Orion.

Previously this month, voice actor Doug Cockle, known for portraying Geralt of Rivia in previous Witcher games, disclosed that the character will reappear in the upcoming sequel of the series, but this time not as the main protagonist. You can find more details about it here.
