These PS5, PS4 Games Are Leaving PS Plus in July

In July 2025, the lineup of games available through PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium will see some changes as new titles are added, and Sony has revealed which ones will be leaving the service soon in their Last Chance to Play update. Notably, this list is smaller compared to previous months.

The list originates from the UK PlayStation Store, which typically encompasses games for both Europe and the USA. All these titles will be available for departure on July 15, 2025. Here’s a rundown of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles that are set to leave:

This version aims to convey the same information in an easy-to-understand manner while maintaining its original context.

  • Dying Light 2 (PS5, PS4)
  • Remnant II (PS5)
  • Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion (PS5, PS4)
  • Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (PS5, PS4)
  • Job Simulator (PSVR2)
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong (PS5, PS4)

If you’re a fan of Japanese role-playing games, the PS5 and PS4 remastered version of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is the clear highlight in that collection. This game reintroduced the PSP side story centered around Zack for contemporary gaming platforms and was generally praised by many.

In our 7/10 review, we noted that “Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion” is a polished remaster of a quirky and at times humorous spinoff. Despite its dramatic emotional undertones about Zack Fair, this story maintains a charmingly absurd appeal that further enriches the world of Final Fantasy VII. It’s difficult not to appreciate the obvious nods to fans and the excessive, larger-than-life cinematics. Moreover, the revamped battle system is significantly improved compared to its earlier versions.

In other words, you have a rich open-world adventure in Dying Light 2, a robust looter shooter in Remnant 2, and entertaining VR entertainment from Job Simulator on PSVR2. With four weeks remaining until the deadline, you could easily complete a couple of these games within that timeframe. After they are removed from service, however, you would need to purchase a copy to continue playing them.
