Studio TeamKill Media, part of Quantum Error, has unveiled their upcoming third-person action horror title, Code Violet, coming to PlayStation 5 this July.
Here is an overview of the game, via PlayStation Store:
By the 25th Century, it is believed that humanity barely survived a disaster that rendered Earth inhospitable and shattered. The remnants of mankind turned their gaze skyward in search of a fresh beginning: Trappist 1-E, the potential new home where they could rebuild and start anew.
Yet, survivors of the catastrophe found themselves infertile and unable to procreate, which posed a dire threat to humanity’s survival, as without resolution, mankind risked imminent extinction.
In a bid to preserve humanity, the remaining inhabitants of Earth, a community called Aion, choose to employ their advanced technology to travel through various points in time, collect women, and transport them to their base on Trappist 1-E for surrogacy purposes, thus averting human extinction.
Yet, although it appears that kind intentions are at play, they conceal sinister realities. When Violet Sinclair is transported from her own era and deposited on Trappist 1-E, she becomes entangled in a struggle between conspiracy and survival as the real motives of Aion gradually come to light.
Code Violet, created by TeamKill Media, serves as a third-person action horror game. In this thrilling adventure, you’ll embody Violet Sinclair, a time-traveled girl tasked with solving the enigmas of the Aion Bioengineering Complex while evading, hiding or battling against the beasts that have taken it over. With the evacuation plan activated, your primary objective is to flee the complex and rescue those dear to you. However, the creatures and a shady Director are doing everything in their power to thwart your efforts. The question remains: will you make it out alive?
