As a seasoned observer of the Bravo universe, I must say that each Housewife brings a unique flavor to the table. Taleen, with her fresh addition to RHODubai, certainly piqued my curiosity and left me eager to learn more about her. Her positive outlook on life, while not providing much drama, was refreshing, and I applaud her for shattering stereotypes of modern Muslim women in the Middle East.
Miami just got a little less hot.
It’s due to the fact that Dr. Nicole Martin has declared her departure from The Real Housewives of Miami before the commencement of its seventh season on Bravo.
The choice to step back arises following the anesthesiologist’s recent struggle with postpartum anxiety after giving birth to her and fiancé Anthony Lopez’s second child, a 5-month-old daughter named Genevieve.
Nicole, mom of her 5-year-old son Grayson, recently disclosed on Instagram (Sept. 13) some personal challenges she’s been managing quietly. She mentioned the arrival of Genevieve, who was born premature and needed to stay in the NICU for two weeks. After this pregnancy, Nicole developed severe postpartum anxiety, which she didn’t experience during her previous pregnancy.
Approximately a week postpartum, I suddenly experienced an intense feeling of apprehension and dread, seemingly out of the blue. It was as if my mind was perpetually in a state of heightened vigilance, fraught with panic and endless fretting over the well-being of my newborn, myself, and my family.
In 2022, during season five of the reality show, Nicole expressed her desire to openly document her experiences as a new mother in order to offer support and courage to fellow mothers dealing with mental health challenges related to childbirth, and to help eliminate the stigma surrounding postpartum health struggles.
She went on to say, “I’m learning how to handle this phase of my life, and it’s been quite an emotional journey, like riding a roller coaster.” Considering where I stand currently, I won’t be coming back to RHOM. At the moment, what matters most is taking care of myself and my family. This decision is about healing and restoring balance, and I hope you can empathize with and encourage this choice of mine.
Nicole ended her note expressing gratitude for your partnership in this journey, and for providing a welcoming environment where she feels at ease disclosing aspects of her life. She aspires that her transparency may inspire those dealing with similar difficulties, and foster mutual support during difficult periods among us all.
In the wake of Nicole’s departure, Bravo has not yet made clear if Larsa Pippen, Alexia Nepola, Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Marysol Patton, Adriana de Moura, and Kiki Barth will be part of the cast for season seven.
For now, feel free to watch “Real Housewives of Miami” at your leisure on Peacock. Plus, stay tuned as we reveal TopMob’s official rankings of all the Real Housewives!
Four relatively unremarkable women – Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner – were united in a noteworthy event related to our country’s capital. There was also one woman who sought fame so eagerly that she managed to gatecrash a White House party. More about her will be discussed later on.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
In a regrettable turn of events, Utah’s latest addition to season two of its Housewives series found herself dismissed following a reemergence of controversial and racially insensitive comments from her past on Facebook. These comments were made public in January 2022, leading to Jennie’s termination. Although she later issued an apology, the harm had already been inflicted.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
In a more casual and engaging tone: During season 16, the Orange County doctor, Dr. Jen, was not the center of any major dramas. Her brief marital issues with her husband Ryne (or perhaps Ryan?) didn’t exactly grab everyone’s attention. However, we can’t forget about Dr. Jen getting completely tipsy on wine at the Dubrows’ incredibly awkward—yet entertaining—dinner party.
The nurse anesthetist’s flop first season can be summed up in one cringe-worthy word we hope we never hear again: Esophagus-gate.
Katie often shared stories about her charitable endeavors, but didn’t seem very active on the show. She was more like a one-time appearance, and when she reappeared as a friend, she didn’t contribute much. Cutting a cast trip short? That’s not really acceptable in the world of ‘Housewives’.
During her two seasons as a full-time housewife, Charrisse’s marital issues became quite prominent…and certainly, those periods, along with her champagne room, are the most striking aspects that stand out about her.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
In season 12, Peggy, who added a touch of diversity to the previously all-white Orange County, became somewhat aggravating. Her selection of fights was peculiar, many times revolving around misunderstandings due to words she didn’t comprehend. Moreover, her choice to seclude herself in her room for an entire day during the Iceland trip demonstrated that she might not be well-suited for the fast-paced lifestyle of the Real Housewives.
In contrast to forming a connection with Nigerian costar Wendy Osefo during the eighth season, Nneka’s storyline in her debut season revolved entirely around an alleged accusation that Wendy’s mother was a witch (quite surprisingly). It would have been more delightful to observe them bonding over their shared culture instead of engaging in conflicts without any resolution.
In a whirlwind manner, Noella navigated season 16, exhibiting an overwhelming burst of activity. Despite her husband James abruptly leaving the country and filing for divorce just before filming began, adding a personal touch to her story (which was somewhat intriguing), it was her ongoing drama with Heather Dubrow, the queen bee, that kept her from sinking too low in the rankings. With more time and another season, perhaps we’ll grow fonder of Noella Bergener.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must confess that the transformation I’ve witnessed in one particular reality TV star has left me quite astounded. From maintaining a tranquil demeanor during her debut season to escalating complaints and allegations in her subsequent (and final) season, it seems we have never seen such a dramatic downfall on the Real Housewives stage.
As a long-standing contestant on “America’s Next Top Model,” I joined seasons 11 and 12, but my impact on the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) world was somewhat minimal, with my pregnancy seemingly lasting throughout most of my tenure. However, I must admit, delivering that memorable read to Marlo Hampton during our time in Tokyo was truly unforgettable.
What stands out about Karen is that she was a dentist, and it appeared as though none of her colleagues held her in high regard. Onward!
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
Among the relatively short-lived cast members of “RHONY”, Jules didn’t stay long enough to be ranked higher. Yet, she certainly provided a generous amount of drama during her time on the show.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Everything that Amber and her spouse, Jim, undertook appeared incredibly desperate. Moreover, it seemed Jim found himself entangled in more dramatic situations compared to Amber. It’s not an appealing picture at all.
Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina embodied a multifaceted, accomplished Arab woman who skillfully merged contemporary lifestyle with age-old cultural customs. She largely steered clear of the first season’s turmoil and was occasionally overshadowed by her fellow stars’ more prominent, vibrant personalities.
Taleen proved to be an excellent newcomer during the second season of RHODubai, and we eagerly anticipate learning more about her in the future.
As an ardent admirer, Sara’s sunny disposition was undeniably delightful, yet it lacked the usual doses of high-stakes drama – except for that incident where she gave Caroline Brooks some unsolicited parenting advice that didn’t go down too well. Nevertheless, this tech visionary has shattered the conventional notions of what a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East can achieve, and for that, we stand in awe and appreciation.
The newcomers from the 13th season of RHONJ perfectly embody the archetypal Jersey Housewife, engaging in a lengthy, seemingly purposeless feud that left Andy Cohen labeling it as unnecessary during the reunion. We’re eager for their return in season 14, hoping they can climb higher on the rankings after an enjoyable debut performance.
In the initial season, Larsa didn’t leave a lasting impact before departing the show. However, when RHOM was resurrected for season four in 2021, her narrative centered around her former friendship with Kim Kardashian and her endeavors, which included selling suggestive foot photos on OnlyFans.
After spending one season as a Bravo personality, she participated in season 12 of ‘Next Food Network Star’ in 2016, but unfortunately, she didn’t win the competition there either.
Sadly, she seemed to serve only as a target for Brandi Glanville’s criticism. Additionally, her catchphrase, glorifying the distasteful idea that one can never be too thin, was highly inappropriate.
Cindy was supposed to be the new Bethenny Frankel. Cindy was no Bethenny Frankel.
