Since it’s been over five years since the initial release of Death Stranding, there might be some plot points you’ve forgotten ahead of the sequel coming out next week. To help refresh your memory, Kojima Productions has prepared an official video summarizing the game’s storyline.
The studio has compacted the storyline from the initial game into a 6-minute, 19-second video clip, which is quite remarkable on its own. As the YouTube description puts it, “Get ready for Sam’s grand adventure in DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH with this concise retelling of the story in DEATH STRANDING.
The video traces Sam’s adventure starting from the initial moments when he receives the BB, which becomes a significant part of his life, up until his interactions with Higgs and numerous large BTs. The core objective of Death Stranding was to link the United States to the chiral network, and in the upcoming installment, Sam strives to achieve the same for Mexico and Australia.
