This week in Japanese video game releases, the star attractions are the debut of Switch 2 and its initial lineup of games. The device is set to launch concurrently with the eagerly awaited “Mario Kart World,” along with the remastered version of “Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD,” “Cyberpunk 2077,” “Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma,” “Shine Post: Be Your Idol!”, and a Director’s Cut of “Yakuza 0.” Other titles are also part of the launch.
Apart from the recently released Switch 2, an array of upcoming titles are set to debut this week. These include “Natsume’s Book of Friends: Hazuki no Shirushi” for both Nintendo Switch and PC, “Illvelo Swamp Happy Together” exclusively for Nintendo Switch, and “Zenless Zone Zero” on Xbox Series.
