Many heroes from the roster could meet their end in “Doomsday,” leaving fans to mourn their loss during the events of “Avengers: Secret Wars.

In “Avengers: Secret Wars,” the Avengers might require a significant catalyst to fuel their determination to battle again. The demise of Phil Coulson at Loki’s hands in the initial “Avengers” movie served as the impetus for the team to vanquish the Asgardian villain in New York. A substantial death occurring in “Secret Wars” could potentially serve as the spark that ignites the new team’s resolve to safeguard the Multiverse. Doctor Doom is not one to yield easily, and not every character who has made an appearance on the big screen so far is fully prepared to confront such a formidable adversary.

The stage is now prepared for the Avengers to confront their most formidable adversary yet, and this time, no one is invulnerable. Although it was pleasant to observe the emerging heroes of Phase 4-6 finding their places, don’t expect these ‘New Avengers’ to emerge unscathed from Doomsday. After all, it’s the original Avengers who are returning for Secret Wars, and that’s because they are needed.
