Throne & Liberty continues to thrive despite a noticeable decline in active users. For those who persistently play, you might be questioning which weapons are worth pursuing. In this guide, we will explore some of the most effective items that can be reasonably obtained within the game.
Best Tier 2 Weapons For All Classes | All Tier 2 Weapons (Jan 2025)
To begin with, I’d like to mention that various effective choices remain if you’re working with a specific build or have particular role preferences. Keeping that in mind, here are the builds generally regarded as the most powerful for each weapon category by our community:
As we dive in, it’s essential to acknowledge that numerous strong options exist based on your chosen build or role preference. With that understanding, I’ll share the popular choices deemed strongest for each weapon type, according to our community:
Tier 2 Daggers
- Tevent’s Fangs of Fury – One of the strongest choices specifically for PVP content, regardless of scale.
- Bercant’s Seductive Blade – This is great for both PVE and PVP content, and it has a passive ability that can significantly boost your damage output. This requires Dimensional Essence: Emergency to craft, making it a particularly long grind if you want a pair.
- Deluzhnoa’s Ice Slash – While it is not the best in terms of raw damage, its utility can be quite useful due to its crowd control effect.
Tier 2 Crossbows
- Queen Bellandir’s Toxic Spine Throwers – This is one of the strongest weapons of its kind and is almost unmatched in terms of damage potential.
- Bercant’s Spineflower Crossbow – It is a close second with its ability to deal a decent amount of damage and has a slightly longer range than the one above it. This also requires a Dimensional Essence: Emergency to create, so it is another tough grind.
- Giant Cordy’s Domination Bow – This one is particularly good for builds that maximize the use of the spinning barrage ability, as it further increases the damage it can deal when you apply a lot of gale stacks. This weapon requires 180 Giant Cordy’s Branches to make.
- Akman’s Rupturing Bow – With its Akman’s Fragment ability, you can deal damage to multiple targets with Quick Fire, which also gains a small damage increase.
Tier 2 Longbows
- Tevent’s Arc of Wailing Death – This weapon remains a staple for both healing and damage dealing, and it allows you to fire bonus projectiles (with less damage) while using Strafing.
- Arc of Lunar Radiance – The Arc of Lunar Radiance is particularly good for healers as it will potentially grant them a lot of attack speed. This requires a Precious Lithograph: Arc of Lunar Radiance to craft.
- Deluzhnoa’s Frost Bow– Because of how its unique ability works, it is typically only used in large scale PVP encounters. However, it can be particularly strong in that specific bit of content.
- Bercant’s Ironstring Bow– This weapon takes a bit of grinding to be able to craft, but it can deal a ton of damage when used with certain builds, such as those that stack a lot of critical hit chance.
Tier 2 Greatswords
- Giant Cordy’s Corruption Sword – It has a ton of damage potential with its unique effect, though getting it can be a bit of a grind as it requires 180 Giant Cordy’s Branches to make.
- Pakilo Naru’s Frenzy Sword – This is geared more towards PVE and is one of the strongest choices for that specific type of content. Great stats and a very useful unique effect.
- Immortal Titanic Quakeblade – This weapon is particularly good at PVP content, but it can also be great for PVE stuff where you have to focus on tough single targets due to the damage output of its unique effect.
Tier 2 Swords & Shields
- Bulwark of Invulnerability – This weapon is a deadly killer in large scale PVP as it lets you hit multiple people with Chain Hook.
- Deluzhnoa’s Ice Sword – For sword & shield users leaning more towards damage rather than tanking, this weapon is a fine alternative.
Tier 2 Wands
- Tevent’s Grasp of Withering – For wand users that lean towards a damage dealing role rather than healing, this weapon is a fantastic choice for that.
- Overture of Eternal Salvation – This option is the best one for healers, which is what most wand users are. You only need the Precious Lithograph: Overture of Eternal Salvation to craft one of these.
- Giant Cordy’s Spore Hand – Although not necessarily amazing, it has some really good niche uses for when you need to make one of your allies immune to crowd control effects.
Tier 2 Staves
- Queen Bellandir’s Hivemind Staff – This has a ton of damage potential and is widely considered to be one of, if not the best staff that you can use at the moment.
- Daigon’s Fire Sword – This is a close second to the previous entry and is a great choice for both PVE and PVP content.
- Abyssal Renaissance Foci – It is a great choice for certain builds as it transforms Ice Spear into a lightning ability that can deal even more damage when certain conditions are met.
- Grayeye’s Lightning Wood – This is a pretty good stat stick with a special effect that some players may find useful.
- Deluzhnoa’s Ice Wood – This is particularly good for PVP encounters as it gives the user a crowd control ability that has immense reach. It also has decent base stats.
- Ebon Soulwind Archstaff – Same as the previous entry, this one can have niche uses in PVP encounters. Not so useful in PVE though.
Tier 2 Spears
- Deluzhnoa’s Hail Spear – This has the strongest damage output of the pack, and it gives you some conditional crowd control.
- Queen Bellandir’s Serrated Spike – This also has good damage potential, only slightly eclipsed by the entry above it. Has a decent special effect as well.
- Crimson’s Carnage Spear – Although not the highest in raw damage, it makes up for it by having a powerful special effect as well as some decent stats to go along with it.
- Mad Wraith’s Fear Spear – It has a decent special effect and some alright damage. It can be great if you like inflicting fear on multiple targets.
- Stormy Wind Spear – Although its base stats are mediocre, its special effect allows you to use Spiral Slash more than once, and this gives the weapon a deceptively high damage output.
- Pakilo Naru’s Sawblade Spear – This weapon has a niche use in PVP encounters, as it allows you to stack up on crowd control resistance by simply using spear skills on enemies.
