As a seasoned veteran of the realm of Throne & Liberty, I must say that the new Spear weapon has certainly piqued my interest! The unique Spears and their set loot drop locations you’ve outlined are nothing short of intriguing.
As a dedicated gamer immersed in the world of Throne & Liberty, I’m thrilled about the introduction of a brand-new weapon type – the Spear! However, if you want to add this formidable tool to your arsenal, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with its drop locations to increase your chances of scoring one.
The Spear is poised to be an incredibly adaptable weapon. It delivers impressive melee damage and excels at managing crowds. Moreover, it can be hurled as a projectile to inflict ranged damage when the situation demands. In essence, this weapon type offers great versatility!
In this manual, we’ll walk you through details on every recognized spear-type weapon and the spots where they can be found as loot in Throne & Liberty.
How to Get Spear Weapon Guide | Throne & Liberty: All Spear Loot Drop Locations
Queen Bellandir’s Starving Spear
The first potential loot drop location for a unique Spear is the Queen Bellandir archboss. You can fight Queen Bellandir at the Queen’s Trap inside the Sandworm Lair. This archboss spawns once every week on Saturday at 13:00 UTC.
It’s best to battle this archboss in Peace mode rather than engaging in conflict, as it will help you avoid any complications related to Player vs Player interactions. You don’t have to deal a significant amount of damage or deliver the final blow. Simply touching it a couple of times to tag it should be enough. After it’s defeated, you’ll be eligible for its rewards.
In case you engage in combat with Queen Bellandir and unfortunately lose, opt not to revive yourself. Instead, remain as a tombstone so other players can handle the boss. Reviving could undo any damage you’ve inflicted on the boss, potentially causing you to forfeit rewards if another hit doesn’t kill the boss before it does.
Additionally, by assisting in defeating the boss, there’s a chance you could earn Queen Bellandir’s Starving Spear as a reward. This item features a special ability known as “Queen Bellandir’s Ravenousness“.
Using this ability improves your “Death from Above” technique, shortening its recharge time by 15 seconds. Additionally, any enemies affected by “Fear” following the use of Death from Above will experience the “Collision: Pull” effect, drawing them towards you. This makes it an excellent tool for managing crowds.
Junobote’s Lava Spear
In a manner similar to the distinctive Spear, this item may be obtained as a random drop when defeating the Junobote boss. This boss is associated with an in-game event, so you can check for its appearance in your game schedule whenever it suits you. The Junobote will always spawn within the Sanctum of Desire Dungeon.
Instead, you could directly call forth Junobote into your Guild’s Hall only when your Guild has attained a minimum level of 17 or higher.
Regardless of your approach, taking down the boss increases your chances of obtaining Junobote’s Lava Spear as a reward upon victory.
What sets this Spear apart is that it boasts the “Junobote’s Fire” capability. When you activate the Bloodlech Aura skill, this ability summons a zone of flames around you, dealing 120% of your Base Damage per second for a duration of 5 seconds. Additionally, landing a Critical Hit within this zone will cause the Ignite status effect to take hold.
Shaikal’s Tentacle Spear
In addition, it’s worth mentioning that you can only obtain Shaikal’s Tentacle Spear by successfully completing the Co-Op Dungeon known as the Cursed Wasteland. I haven’t found any other places where this rare spear is dropped in Throne & Liberty.
This Spear stands out among the rest due to its unique trait, referred to as “Shaikal’s Sky.” It amplifies the damage of your Javelin Surge skill by 15% and causes the projectile to pass through enemies. Ideal for piercing through groups of opponents! However, keep in mind that Cooldown Reset doesn’t apply to this ability.
Pakilo Naru’s Sawblade Spear (Korea)
To acquire this Spear, you’ll need to overcome Pakilo Naru. This can be done either by challenging him as a World Boss or as a Guild Boss if summoned at your Guild Hall. The process is similar to what was required for Junobote earlier. Keep an eye on your in-game Schedule for the availability of the World Boss version.
However, the catch here is that Pakilo Naru is only currently available on the Korean server, as he belongs to the Talandre region.
If you’re using the global edition of the game, you’ll need to be patient until Talandre becomes available worldwide. As of now, there isn’t a specific release date, but it is expected to launch during the first three months of 2025.
As a devoted fan, I must say this character boasts an extraordinary ability called “Pakilo Naru’s Barrier.” Landing a hit on enemies using any Spear skill will cumulatively build up to 10 stacks of Pakilo Naru’s Barrier. This empowerment lasts for 3 seconds, enhancing all my crowd control resistances by 25%. To fully exploit its potential, I must strategically alternate between my various Spear skills since each can only add one stack at a time.
Deluzhnoa’s Hail Spear (Korea)
Here’s another way to phrase it: The second Spear you can obtain is from the Deluzhnoa archboss, a unique drop specifically associated with this boss. Deluzhnoa appears only once a week at Quietis’s Demesne in Talandre, and if you check your in-game Schedule, you should find it listed there.
Initially, this feature will be accessible exclusively for the Korean version, much like Pakilu Naru.
Deluzhna belongs to the Talandre district, which is yet to be accessible in the international game version. International gamers must patiently wait until at least the first quarter of 2025 before they can explore Talandre.
Inflict some harm on the boss before it’s defeated, and you’ll stand a chance to snatch some of its treasure as a prize. With a bit of luck, you might even grab Deluzhnoa’s Thunder Lance!
As a thrilled fan, I’d put it like this: “This spear boasts the extraordinary ‘Deluzhnoa’s Waves’ ability! When I execute the ‘Rising Slash’ skill, there’s an 80% chance it’ll forcefully shove my target. If I manage to push them against a wall with this collision, they’ll be left stunned for a good three seconds!
Other Sources | All Spear Loot Drop Locations in Throne & Liberty
In addition to the specific Spears and their associated loot locations detailed earlier, it’s worth noting that you can obtain Spears from other random sources as well. This can be achieved by defeating common enemies or opening any chests labeled as Weapon Chests that you come across during your journey.
Beyond that, you’ve got the option of creating your own spears through the Crafting system. Additionally, you can buy simple Common-tier Spears from vendors in any town. While they may not be particularly impressive, they should suffice if you’re looking to get a feel for this new weapon type and start using it.
So, there you have it, that’s all of the currently known loot drop locations for the new Spear weapon in Throne & Liberty. Mind you, this is all based on the pre-release information we have at the moment. There might be more unique Spears and loot sources for it once it becomes publicly available!
