Alrighty there, matey! I’ve been sailing these digital seas for quite some time now, and let me tell you, the Saurodoma Island is one of the most sought-after destinations in this here game, Throne & Liberty. Now, don’t go jumping on any old ship, you see? You gotta catch the elusive Gigantrite, and that, my friend, ain’t as easy as it sounds!
One of the main objectives for players in Throne & Liberty during the endgame is attempting to navigate to Saurodoma Island and activating its quick-travel marker.
Currently, Saurodoma Island stands as the final unexplored area within the game. This zone is home to adversaries with Level 50 and above, yet it offers an abundance of fresh content for those willing to take on its demanding tasks. The journey to even set foot on this island presents a formidable challenge in itself!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to be able to reach Saurodoma Island.
How To Reach Saurodoma Island Fast Travel Waypoint | Throne & Liberty
To access Saurodoma Island and its fast travel Waypoint in Throne & Liberty, ensure that the island is active on your game server. It becomes accessible once your server has reached the Ruler of Lycan Milestone from Chapter 4: Frenzy of Wraiths. This is a milestone tied to your server’s progress, so it can’t be completed individually. If it hasn’t been achieved yet, you’ll simply have to wait until your server reaches that point in the game.
Should your server not reach this Milestone, a transparent shield will envelop Saurodoma Island, preventing any attempt to approach it, regardless of your actions.
Once the Milestone is completed, you’ll have to keep patience until the Gigantrite event commences. To find out when it starts, kindly refer to our guide for the “Little Friend in the Sky” quest. There, we instruct on how to check the event start time by clicking a button (PC) or pressing L2 + Triangle (PlayStation) or LT + Y (Xbox).
The Gigantrite occurrence takes place approximately every few hours each day, and the Schedule will keep you informed about its next commencement.
Additionally, you might want to explore a comprehensive timetable by navigating to the map screen. The Gigantrite event icon, resembling a whale, should be easy to spot there.
Boarding the Gigantrite
As soon as the event begins, make your way towards a possible embarkation spot. The exact locations depend on the path that the Gigantrite chooses, which is unpredictable. However, you can monitor the Gigantrite’s route on your map for updates on potential routes and boarding points.
- Fonos Basin – The easiest route to follow, with the most boarding points. The Gigantrite will first pass by the Purelight Tower, then the Starlight Observatory, and finally the Veder Lookout.
- Kastleton – The “in-between” route, it only has two boarding points. Starlight Observatory first, and then the Stonegard Castle Walls.
- Stonegard – The hardest route to board the Gigantrite, as the Gigantrite flies out of reach for most of the route. However, you can land on it at the end of its route from the Stonegard Castle Walls.
We highly advise against trying to board the Gigantrite during the nighttime, as well. PvP is enabled when it’s night in-game, so players will likely try to fight each other at the boarding spots. They’re hotspots, after all!
No matter how you look at it, all you need is to be patient and stay put until Gigantrite reaches your designated spot. Once it arrives, utilize your Glide Morph to leap aboard its back. From there, simply remain patient until Gigantrite soars over Saurodoma Island.
Reaching Saurodoma Island Itself
To get to Saurodoma Island more conveniently, soar over it first, then dive from Gigantrite. Use your Glide Morph to touch down on the island, aiming to land near the fast travel Waypoint situated in the northwestern region of Saurodoma Island. By doing this, you’ll unlock that location for future travels in Throne & Liberty!
Here’s a suggestion for paraphrasing:
Nonetheless, now you know everything you need to do to reach Saurodoma Island. Be warned, this is the game’s current endgame location! Expect to encounter Level 50 enemies and higher, so don’t go unprepared.
