Throne & Liberty: Kaiser Crimson Boss Guide | How to Skip All Mechanics

In the game Throne & Liberty, Kaiser Crimson serves as the ultimate antagonist within the Twisted Laboratory, and much like other bosses, he possesses distinct strategies to counteract, due to his unique characteristics.

This boss is mainly concerned with rendering the arena unfavorable for combatants. To survive, you must correctly handle the mechanics to establish a secure area, or else you’ll find yourself injured throughout the battle! However, it’s also possible to bypass these mechanics in certain situations.

As a fellow enthusiast, let me guide you through strategies for handling your supervisor’s mechanics, plus tips on bypassing them when feasible. Let’s dive in!

Skipping Mechanics

Before diving into our detailed guide for defeating Kaise Crimson in Throne & Liberty, let’s clarify an important point. To “bypass” some of the boss mechanics, having a team with two competent healers is crucial. With these healers working effectively, they can maintain the entire party’s health and safety throughout the battle. In essence, your goal should be to overpower the damage output of the boss by healing more than it harms. It’s as straightforward as that!

Nevertheless, it’s advisable to familiarize yourself with the workings and practice them extensively. The two-healer skipped method is only suggested for use when joining random groups, as it may be beneficial if you doubt your companions’ understanding of the mechanics.

With that said, let’s go over the main mechanics of this fight and how to deal with them.

Purple Orb, Purple Orb!

As soon as the battle commences, Kaiser Crimson will teleport towards the player at the greatest distance and tag them with up to 4 glowing purple orbs. The number of these orbs indicates the minimum number of other players that should be within the purple aura surrounding the marked individual. For instance, if 4 orbs appear above the player’s head, it signifies that 3 additional players need to get near them.

In simpler terms, it might help if one player keeps track of the orbs and shares that information through chat, making communication a key aspect in the gameplay. Additionally, assigning a player as the ‘bait’ or the one who stays farthest away from Kaiser Crimson could make the fight more manageable by designating roles for handling the purple orb marks.

Darkslayer’s Memory and Bleed

When a sufficient number of players gather around the designated player, the purple orbs will metamorphose into a substantial crystal called the Darkslayer’s Memory. This crystal will be encircled by a small safety zone, indicating a secure area for you and your group.

Concurrently, Kaiser Crimson will unleash a massive, radiating red attack that affects a wide area. This attack causes a ‘bleeding’ status to anyone positioned outside of the Darkslayer’s Memory boundary, as indicated by a big red health dropover above characters’ heads. Notably, this ‘bleeding’ effect deals significant continuous damage. To eliminate this status, just step into the secure zone of Darkslayer’s Memory.

In our previous discussion, it’s worth noting that you can bypass the bleed mechanic altogether with two healers. To ensure a smooth gameplay experience, make sure your healers can outpace the bleed damage. This strategy is especially beneficial for melee characters since they won’t have to concern themselves with moving away from Kaiser Crimson towards Darkslayer’s Memory.

Red Orbs

Immediately following the prior assaults, Kaiser Crimson will mysteriously appear right in the center of the battleground. Then, he’ll create a pair of glowing red orbs above two players’ heads. These orbs are set to explode into a powerful, wide-ranging attack after some time has passed. It is important to mention that when Kaiser Crimson’s health falls below 50%, he will instead mark three players with the red orbs.

To handle this mechanism effectively, marked individuals need to swiftly move away from their fellow team members, ensuring they stay outside of the Darkslayer’s Memory safe area as well. The explosion of the red orb could inflict harm on affected players and temporarily incapacitate them too.

Following that, the ground within the entire arena will be marked with red circles. Over time, these circles explode, causing damage and momentary stun to those caught in their radius. Ensure you strategically place yourself amidst the circles to dodge their impact.

Breaking the Darkslayer’s Memory

Afterward, the character known as Kaiser Crimson will vanish and begin attacking the player who is most distant from the arena’s center. It would be wise for that player, along with two others, to swiftly advance towards the safe zone of the Darkslayer’s Memory without delay.

As an avid fan, I can’t wait to see Kaiser Crimson launch a projectile straight at the farthest opponent. This projectile won’t just stop there though; it will ricochet towards two other nearby players as well. And then, in a dramatic turn of events, the projectile will careen towards the Darkslayer’s Memory, shattering it completely!

To wrap up, Kaiser Crimson will unleash an attack affecting the entire arena. However, if you successfully shatter Darkslayer’s Memory, he will gain a protective cone-shaped zone behind him, shielding him from any damage. Fortunately, the damage from this attack is manageable in the current game version, particularly if you have two healers on your team.

Here’s another way I could express that sentence: “Alrighty then, wrapping up our guide on Kaiser Crimson and his gameplay mechanics in Throne & Liberty. From here on out, it’s a repetition of the pattern until you triumph over him. Keep pushing forward and victory will be yours!
