Thunderbolts Cast Reveals Surprising Fear Behind Making MCU Movies!

In their recent disclosure, the cast of the movie “Thunderbolts” has unveiled the most daunting aspect of filmmaking within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and it’s not the thrilling death-defying stunts! The MCU is a highly sought-after franchise in Hollywood, with its 35 films and several TV shows spanning close to two decades. Despite some minor setbacks, the MCU continues to hold significant influence. It appears that Marvel might be regaining its stride after a few years of fluctuating success. Not only does “The Fantastic Four: The First Steps” seem promising and appealing to skeptics of Marvel, but the MCU may also be on track for another successful venture with an ensemble that is comparatively less popular.

Endgame in some reviews. The film appears to differ from other Marvel productions and may offer a level of quality that was absent in movies like Captain America: Brave New World. This is partly due to the exceptionally talented team behind Thunderbolts*, as well as trailers hinting at a more polished movie with reduced dependence on green screens and reshoots. Furthermore, nearly all of the cast from Thunderbolts* will appear in Avengers: Doomsday. This could imply that Marvel is highly confident in the ensemble they’ve put together for this film and intend to prominently showcase them in what might be their most significant production yet.

Thunderbolts* Cast Reveals Keeping Avengers: Doomsday Secrets Is the Scariest Part of Making an MCU Movie

While conversing with ComicBook, the Thunderbolts cast were curious about what they found most daunting when producing an MCU film: performing daring stunts or maintaining confidentiality for a movie such as “Avengers: Doomsday”. Remarkably, it was the possibility of inadvertently spilling a major Marvel secret during an interview that proved to be more frightening than executing high-risk stunts like leaping from a building.

Actor Wyatt Russell compared media training for “Doomsday” as if someone is holding a knife to your neck, saying ‘Say anything, and it’s over.’ This implies that the stakes are high and any mistake could lead to dire consequences.

Instead of directly answering Avengers: Doomsday questions during interviews, David Harbour (playing Red Guardian) finds it the most nerve-wracking stunt within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He humorously refers to these interview sessions as “the scariest stunt imaginable,” where interviewers ask, “So we hear you’re in Doomsday?”, and he compares himself to being ‘harnessed up.’

Jake Schreier, the director of Thunderbolts, seems unfazed by the situation. He mentioned that no one discussed with him about avoiding future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) spoilers. It’s unlikely that Schreier will face questions related to Avengers: Doomsday as he isn’t involved in writing, directing, or acting for the movie. However, it wouldn’t be unexpected if he consulted on the film, similar to other MCU directors who had their characters appear in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.

Schreier remarked, “It’s amusing because it seems as though I wasn’t seriously reprimanded in private.” I suspect they’re aware that what happened has become public knowledge, so one learns to keep quiet about such matters.

At this moment, I can’t say I know a great deal about the upcoming film titled “Avengers: Doomsday,” apart from its cast and the fact that Robert Downey Jr. will portray Doctor Doom. Unlike the Infinity Saga, the previous films haven’t explicitly set the stage for these new Avengers movies, but it wouldn’t be unexpected if Marvel sprinkles some hints in “Thunderbolts” and “Fantastic Four.” As of now, I can’t predict exactly how significant a part “Thunderbolts” will play in “Avengers: Doomsday,” but considering they’re going up against Sentry, it seems they will be well-prepared to tackle any threat that comes their way, whether they rely on powers or not.

As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement! The action-packed “Thunderbolts” is set to hit the big screen on May 2nd, 2023. But that’s not all – just a day earlier, on May 1st, 2026, we have the much-anticipated “Avengers: Doomsday”! I can hardly wait to see the Thunderbolts in action during “Doomsday”.
