Tickets Now On Sale!

The tickets to the Hunger Games on stage are on sale today and may the odds… well, you know.

This fall, the freshly debuted play, which is inspired by Suzanne Collins’ renowned book trilogy and movie adaptations, will have its first performance in London.

Initially scheduled for a global debut in fall 2024, the show has encountered some setbacks and is now slated to open from October 2025 instead, at the newly constructed Troubadour Theatre in Canary Wharf.

Under the guidance of director Matthew Dunster, who has previously worked on “2:22 – A Ghost Story”, we’ll witness a revival of characters such as Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, and 22 other tributes. They will be engaged in a lethal competition famously known as the Hunger Games.

The performance will be held in an uncommon “in-the-round” setup, with Miriam Buether taking on the role of set designer, Moi Tran handling costumes, Charlotte Broom choreographing, Lucy Carter managing lighting, Ian Dickinson from Autograph dealing with sound, Tal Rosner overseeing video design, Kev McCurdy handling fight direction, John Maddox from Suspended Illusions taking care of performer flying, Amy Ball in charge of casting, and Gary Beestone serving as production manager.

After the unveiling of the play in 2024, author Suzanne Collins expressed her enthusiasm, stating: “I’m thrilled to be working with the exceptionally talented duo of Conor McPherson and Matthew Dunster as they breathe life into their captivating and inventive adaptation of The Hunger Games for the London theatre.

The complete list of actors for the play hasn’t been revealed just yet, but regardless of the accolades, we’re eager and ready to catch it!
