An online community is grieving the loss of a candid and lovable creator.
26-year-old social media personality, Bailey Hutchins (or Healing With Bailey), lost her life on February 7th after a long struggle with colon cancer. This heartbreaking news was shared by her husband, Caden Hutchins, in a deeply emotional online post.
Caden shared on his Feb. 8 Instagram post, along with Bailey’s account, that “Bailey B has sadly passed away last night.” For the past two years, she bravely fought through an incredibly difficult battle, but is now free from all the excruciating pain she experienced during her journey. Being her husband and caregiver was a profoundly rewarding experience for me.
In 2023, Caden, who got married to Bailey, expressed his astonishment over losing his wife after a two-year struggle with cancer.
Bailey, you’ve always been a radiant beam of light in every space you occupy, and an inspiring figure for many. Your unwavering faith is powerful enough to shift mountains, though sadly it seems that Heaven had greater purposes for you. I look forward to seeing you again someday.
Previously, Bailey informed her TikTok audience about a growth in her colon that resulted in a blockage, necessitating hospitalization. Later on, she decided to maintain confidentiality regarding the rest of her health experiences and shared this intention with her followers.
Bailey expressed that she won’t disclose her current circumstances, as she simply can’t do so at the moment, in a TikTok video posted on January 19th. She added, ‘I’m just not able to. But rest assured, I’m here and I’m okay.’
In her last social media post before she went offline, the content creator requested her audience if they would join her in a prayer, referencing a passage from Psalms 118:7 in the Bible, saying “I won’t perish, instead I will live on and proclaim the marvelous deeds of the Lord.
A few days following her admission, Caden (the one Bailey had mentioned was with her at the hospital) posted an update indicating that Bailey had been released from the hospital post-surgery, having undergone a couple of procedures.
In the January 26th video, Caden said, “She’s been feeling quite low on energy recently,” adding, “Our main concern is her healing and recuperation.
He mentioned, ‘In summary, her intention was for me to contact you all, simply to share with you that she holds a deep affection for each of you.’
