Gracie McGraw is embracing her identity.
In 1996, the oldest daughter of the couple comprising Tim McGraw and Faith Hill publicly acknowledged her identity during Pride Month by sharing it through social media platforms.
On her Instagram Stories on June 2nd, the 28-year-old expressed her joy for Pride by posting a message saying, “Let’s all be more LGBTQ+!” She also added, “Happy Pride! I’m proud to be queer.
Despite not making any public statements regarding Gracie’s post, it’s well-known that Tim and Faith, parents to Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23, share a strong familial bond. In fact, on May 31 at the Music City Rodeo in Nashville, all three of their daughters joined their father onstage, assisting him in performing his 2007 hit “Last Dollar (Fly Away)”.
In the performance video posted by Music Mayhem on Instagram, Tim proudly declared, “These are my girls. They lent their voices to this album back when they were just children!
Sure enough, the selection of the song held a unique charm since the threesome had contributed their childish voices to the track’s studio recording earlier on. As the music video started to roll during that performance, the siblings couldn’t hide their emotions and ended up embracing Tim in a heartwarming group hug.
“They’re all grown up now,” he continued. “My girls!”
Previously, Tim has mentioned that living in an environment dominated by women (in this case, “full of estrogen” is used figuratively to denote a household with many females) has brought about numerous benefits in his personal life.
