As a film enthusiast with a deep appreciation for unique and imaginative storytelling, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about Apple TV+’s new series, “Time Bandits.” Having grown up watching Terry Gilliam’s 1981 classic film of the same name, I’ve always been captivated by its whimsical blend of history, adventure, and fantasy.
In their new production titled “Time Bandits,” directed by Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, and Iain Morris, Lisa Kudrow takes on a leading role, inspired by the 1981 Terry Gilliam movie with an identical moniker.
A young history enthusiast named Kevin gets drawn into an exhilarating journey with a band of quirky time-traveling burglars in this show.
Two out of the total episodes are currently available, introducing us to Kevin, Penelope, and the rest of their group. However, I’m curious to know when episode 3 will drop, as well as the release plan for the remaining episodes in the series.

When is Time Bandits episode 3 released on Apple TV+?
Starting from the third episode, “Time Bandits” will be released every week, following its initial release of the first two episodes on June 24th. (I’m here to support this new scheduling and can’t wait for each new installment!)
The third episode, named “Medieval,” is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, the 31st of July.

As an avid fan of science fiction and adventure series, I’ve seen my fair share of unpredictable journeys through time and space. But none have quite captured my imagination like this new series I recently discovered. The synopsis alone hooked me with its intriguing blend of history, thrills, and a ragtag team of misfits.
Following Lisa Kudrow’s lead, we, the quirky bandit gang, set off on thrilling journeys as ominous forces loom over our victories and the familiarity of our lives. Traveling through time and space, our team encounters intriguing ancient civilizations in search of treasure. With each new challenge, it’s up to Kevin to illuminate the situation for us.
In their adventure, the Time Bandits come across the formation of Stonehenge, observe the Trojan Horse being used in battle, narrowly avoid encounters with dinosaurs during the prehistoric era, cause chaos throughout medieval periods, live through the ice age and ancient civilizations, and witness the Harlem Renaissance among many other exciting events.
