In a podcast episode of ‘The Run-Through With Vogue’ from May, which was re-posted on December 31st, the 70-year-old matriarch, who is also the mother of Solange Knowles with her ex-husband Mathew Knowles, expressed her feelings: “I take care of my kids, and it’s simply my role,” she said. “Sometimes things aren’t fair because social media, despite its great potential and benefits, can be misused. People can easily fabricate stories or express their opinions freely without any repercussions, which is unfortunate.

“That’s what happens to 70-year-olds on social media, I’m always screwing up,” she quipped.

By the way, she mentioned that Beyoncé’s spouse of 16 years shared some insightful tips with her regarding engaging in online debates, a practice she frequently undertakes using voice-to-text.

Tina relayed, “Jay, my daughter’s husband, will remind you, ‘If you’re going to criticize someone, at least make sure your spelling is correct.’ He added, ‘Be mindful of your spelling, Ma. You can’t make mistakes like that. Take your time and proofread your work before posting!’

But, she cracked, “I don’t have time for that.”

A day following the lawsuit’s filing that implicated him, Jay-Z was accompanied by his family in a show of solidarity. The Roc Nation founder stood alongside his wife, mother-in-law, and daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, on the red carpet at the December 9th premiere of “Mufasa”.
