As a seasoned gamer and wrestling enthusiast with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of the Hardys gracing our television screens with their unique brand of chaos through a House Hardy series. The Hardy Compound has always been a hotbed of drama, humor, and heart, and I can only imagine the delightful mayhem that will ensue when they bring their dysfunctional family to the small screen.
The iconic WWE and TNA tag team, the Hardys (Matt and Jeff), might be stepping into the reality TV realm with a series titled “House Hardy.” What began as a Twitch gaming channel for Matt and his wife Reby has blossomed into a social media powerhouse. With “Gothic Baby” and King Maxel frequently featured in the Hardy household, it appeared inevitable that they’d bring their unconventional family to the small screen. On their streaming platform and various TikTok accounts, they regularly post updates on their lives and offer entertaining, peculiar content. In a recent episode of the podcast “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,”, Matt discusses a project involving the family that’s underway.
We’ve been putting a lot of effort into creating a reality show for House Hardy this week, and we’ve even discussed it with some influential figures. This project is still under development, consuming much of our time. At House Hardy, we have many ongoing projects, and I’m quite optimistic about them.
Over the years, numerous television programs focused on wrestling have achieved success, such as WWE’s “Tough Enough” and “Total Divas,” which significantly expanded the company’s audience. This growth eventually led to the spin-off series “Total Bellas,” starring WWE Hall of Famers Nikki and Brie Bella. WWE has also produced numerous shows centered around their popular couples, like “Miz and Mrs.” featuring Miz and Maryse, as well as “Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez.” Even All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has ventured into this realm with the reality series “Rhodes to the Top,” starring Cody and Brandi Rhodes, and the behind-the-scenes show “AEW All Access.
As a gamer, I shared my thoughts on how being part of TNA has given me the liberty to explore other avenues beyond wrestling while still being content with my character’s growth there. I’m brimming with optimism about where things are headed and pleased with the choices I’ve made in joining TNA. I’m thrilled about how things have unfolded at TNA, and I can’t help but feel excited about the various projects we’re working on outside of it. These ventures are opening up new possibilities for us and broadening our horizons. (Credit: Fightful)
As a devoted gamer, I’ve followed the Hardys’ journey closely, and though Matt keeps assuring us about ongoing chats with AEW and others, nothing concrete has been revealed yet, other than their continued work in TNA. There’s been talk of a potential collaboration with WWE due to their unclaimed NXT Tag Team Titles. Since reuniting in TNA, they’ve been embroiled in a feud with JDC and The System, which surprisingly granted them an early title shot. However, despite their efforts, they ended up winning by disqualification, leaving the championships just out of their reach for now.
