As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing fantastical realms, I must say that this “Wish Upon a Star” quest in Genshin Impact is quite the intriguing adventure! The Tepetlisaurus ride and the star shard hunting have added a new layer of excitement to my journey.
In the wilderness, you stumble upon a child on a mission to find fragments of a star. Finish this task to receive the accomplishment titled “Awaken! Night Head!”

How to Start To Wish Upon a Star Quest
Move towards the point northeast of the Ancestral Temple, then continue your journey eastward until you reach the rimmed crater with an orange edge. At this location, you’ll find a boy peering into the crater. Speak with him to initiate the quest.
Step into the cave and reside within the Tepetlisaurus. Employ its ability to assault the colossal stone. The HP of the rock is displayed at the top of the screen, albeit it’s rather diminutive in size.
Following that, aim the Tepetlisaurus attack at the glimmering spots on the wall. In this particular hole, there are three of these shimmering areas, so take a moment to rotate and identify their locations.
Once that’s done, continue with the journey as directed by the quest map until it concludes. You’ll then receive the accomplishment titled “Awaken! Night Head!”
It appears that there should be another part to the story or mission, but after resetting each day, I haven’t found a continuation. This missing piece might be located elsewhere or simply not included in this particular version of the game, as there doesn’t seem to be any continuation available at all.
