The new Kickstarter campaign has surpassed McFarlane’s previous records, amassing $1 million in pledges within just five hours. This is significantly faster than the previous Spawn Kickstarter campaign which took 23 hours to reach the same milestone.
1. In a swift two minutes, the campaign successfully reached its $100,000 target and doubled that amount within another four minutes, shattering the previous record of three minutes for a campaign. Moreover, the colorful figure quickly sold out all 700 Premium 3-Packs in just 45 minutes.
Currently, the campaign has garnered support from more than 6,500 supporters, aiming to collect over $1.3 million, with 28 days remaining in the campaign. Given the swift pace at which the campaign is surpassing its stretch goals, four out of a potential fourteen free bonus accessories have already been unlocked. McFarlane intends to provide additional bonuses as more goals are achieved during the campaign.
2024 will see the release of the highly detailed Medieval Spawn figure in three distinct color options: traditional blue and red, striking black, and a monochrome artist’s proof version in gray. Supporters can opt for either autographed or unsigned versions of these figurines. The production process is already in motion, with plans to deliver the figures to numerous backers over the holiday season. Some backers may even receive their items before Christmas.
