As a seasoned adventurer and long-time fan of Lara Croft’s escapades, I must say that this announcement has filled me with uncontainable excitement! The Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered collection is like a treasure map leading me back to my gaming roots.
Following the unveiling of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered earlier this year, Aspyr has now revealed that Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered will be available starting February 14th, 2025. This adventure can be enjoyed on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for the price of $29.99. You can watch the announcement trailer below to get a sneak peek.
This revamped set comprises the final three games preceding the series’ restart, featuring “Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation,” “Tomb Raider: Chronicles,” and “Tomb Raider: Underworld” (yes, “Underworld” as in “Angel of Darkness”). This trilogy presents a more somber narrative, taking Croft from triggering an unfortunate prophecy to being thought dead, and ultimately becoming a murder suspect.
In a similar manner to the prior collection, gamers will have the ability to switch instantly between the original game’s graphics or an updated remastered appearance that boasts significantly enhanced environmental textures. Additionally, players can anticipate a fresh, modern control layout for these titles, while still having the option to use the classic configuration.
