A user named Kurakasis on Twitter unearthed information suggesting that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has been rated by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore for multiple platforms including Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, hinting at a release this year.
It’s likely not shocking news for many gamers, as rumors suggest Vicarious Visions proposed a collection remaster of both original games (which Activision declined). Considering the favorable reception of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, it seems logical to continue with remasters of the third and fourth titles.
Keep an eye out for further updates on March 4th when the announcement is made. At this point, we’re unsure about what enhancements or innovations it might bring (with Chicago possibly being one of them), but it could be led by Iron Galaxy Studios – a team that collaborated with Vicarious on the Steam edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.
