As a die-hard AEW fan, I can’t contain my excitement over the phenomenal success of Tony Khan and his team at All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The resurrection of “ALL IN” for a UK pay-per-view last August was a bold move that paid off in spades. With an astounding capacity crowd of 81,035 at London’s Wembley Stadium – the largest paid wrestling event attendance ever – AEW left an indelible mark on wrestling history.

Last summer, I watched in awe as All Elite Wrestling (AEW) pulled off the unthinkable. In April 2023, AEW President Tony Khan and announcer Nigel McGuinness made an exciting announcement – they were bringing back “ALL IN,” the pioneering event that marked AEW’s beginning, as a pay-per-view in the United Kingdom. Just like the original “ALL IN” (2018), which took a daring leap by filling a 10,000-seat arena, AEW went all out by hosting the event at iconic Wembley Stadium in London. With an astounding capacity crowd of 81,035 – the largest paid attendance for a wrestling event ever – we witnessed history being made. This incredible success led Khan to secure Wembley for August 2024 as well. The announcement of “AEW ALL IN: London” as the inaugural event came just as the first event was wrapping up, leaving fans like me eagerly anticipating another unforgettable experience.

At the moment, I haven’t received any official word about AEW ALL IN: London in 2025. There are rumors floating around that this might be because next year’s event could take place in a new location outside of Wembley Stadium. An insider report even suggested that AEW has been scouting stadiums in Texas for a potential future show.

AEW’s future in the lone star state remains uncertain.

In an interview with ComicBook before AEW Dynamite episode 250 on TBS, AEW president Tony Khan addressed rumors that AEW was considering holding a future stadium event in Texas.

Khan expressed that it’s not on our agenda for the time being. But I find the concept intriguing, and if we have the opportunity, it could be a fascinating project to undertake.

AEW’s pay-per-view event in a Texas stadium might not happen soon, but Khan showed great interest in the idea.

“Although I can’t verify the validity of those reports or predict what’s coming next, we’ve had successful shows in Texas throughout the years. We’ve held numerous Ring of Honor pay-per-views there, and many of AEW’s biggest TV episodes have been filmed in Texas. However, something new and exciting that we haven’t done yet is hosting an AEW pay-per-view in Texas. With the high demand for it, I believe trying this out would be an intriguing prospect for us.”

Currently, Khan is dedicating AEW’s resources towards making “AEW ALL IN: London” an exceptional stadium event by August 25th.

“Regarding our largest arena events, we’re extremely committed to putting on a great show with AEW ALL IN at Wembley Stadium in London,” Khan expressed.

AEW Dynamite airs its 250th episode this Wednesday, July 17th at 8 PM ET on TBS.
