Despite being canceled a year ago, SEAL Team continues to be a hit show, consistently leading Paramount+’s streaming rankings. The series, which previously aired for seven seasons on CBS and then Paramount+, focuses on the personal and professional lives of an elite Navy SEAL unit. Throughout its run, the show portrays their challenges and triumphs as they prepare, strategize, and carry out perilous and high-stakes missions in the service of the United States against seemingly insurmountable odds.
The main cast includes David Boreanaz, Neil Brown Jr., A.J. Buckley, and Max Thierio, who form an elite Tier One team. Frequently, their missions placed immense strain on the SEAL Team members as well as their families, sometimes requiring them to make the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. Here are the episodes of the series that received the highest ratings from IMDB users, with a notable trend: many of the top-ranked episodes in this military drama aired during Seasons 2, 4, and 6.

IMDb score: 8.8/10
8) Season 6, Episode 1 – “Low Impact”
Kickstarting Season 6, I found myself in a tight spot alongside the Bravo Team, pinned down during a mission against ruthless Jihadists. A bullet caught up with my comrade Clay, leaving him with a grievous leg wound. Unfortunately, his body rejected the antibiotics, leading to sepsis and a high likelihood of amputation. Sonny remained steadfast by Clay’s side, while Jason (David Boreanaz) made a beeline back to base to support Clay’s family during this challenging time.
IMDb score: 8.9/10
7) Season 4, Episode 6 – “Horror Has a Face”
In this thrilling installment, Clay finds out where Ray is being kept hostage. Simultaneously, on the vessel holding him captive, Ray unsuccessfully tries to break free. Although he doesn’t manage to escape, he manages to snatch a phone which Davis (Toni Trucks) uses to locate him. Lt. Commander Blackburn (Judd Lormand) must navigate delicate political negotiations with the Pentagon so that the Bravo team can save an injured Ray in a daring rescue mission before it’s too late.
IMDb score: 8.9/10
6) Season 5, Episode 14 – “All Bravo Stations”
In the single episode from Season 5 that was included, the Bravo Team finds themselves in a precarious situation, needing to execute a daring escape before they can move on from their mission in Venezuela. Yet, upon their return to Virginia Beach, they encounter even more peril, and the season concludes with a shocking cliffhanger that leaves them hanging.
IMDb score: 8.9/10
5) Season 2, Episode 19 – “Medicate and Isolate”
As I accompany Jason on a grim operation to recover Captain Washington’s body from a dangerous region of Mali overrun by Jihadists, back home, my life takes an unexpected turn. With Clay now strong enough to live at home with the aid of a cane, he reluctantly brings Swann to his VA appointment. Unfortunately, they discover that Swann’s psychological trauma had been overlooked due to bureaucratic errors in the system. In the days that follow, I tragically find Swann lying in a pool of his own blood, having taken his life after our shared struggle with his ignored mental injury went unaddressed.
IMDb score: 8.9/10
4) Season 6, Episode 9 – “Damage Assessment”
Following a successful questioning session in Jordan, Team Bravo receives the heart-wrenching news that Clay has tragically lost his life in an unfortunate shooting incident. Despite attempting to hand over their mission responsibilities to other SEALs, they feel compelled to remain in the Middle East, eventually finding themselves in a situation of being stranded there.
IMDb score: 9.1/10
3) Season 4, Episode 16 – “One Life to Live”
In the final episode of Season 4, the Bravo Team grapples with the loss of Metal (Scott Foxx), a tragedy that heavily affects Jason. Meanwhile, Davis discovers that five other women have lodged complaints against Lt. Commander Whitshaw (Jason Dohring). This knowledge empowers her to stand up against his harassment without having to forfeit her promotion.
IMDb score: 9.1/10
2) Season 2, Episode 5 – “Say Again Your Last”
In this initial episode of ‘SEAL Team’, we follow the Bravo Squad as they pursue their mission to rescue hostages following the unfortunate death of their comrade, Adam (Michael Irby), at the hands of a suicide bomber. Meanwhile, back home in the U.S., it’s Jason who must bear the difficult task of informing Adam’s grieving widow about his demise. After departing from Team Bravo to spend more time with his family, Jason is joined by his daughter Emma (Kerri Medders) as they deliver this heart-wrenching news. Moved by the situation, young Emma encourages her father to rejoin the SEAL team once again.

The Bravo Team found themselves battling through dangerous territory, still grappling with the death of Clay.
