A custom-made R8 Artian Insect Glaive specialized for causing Paralysis and boasting a high Base Attack is an excellent choice for nearly any hunt. If you haven’t been able to craft one of those yet, consider equipping it with decorations that enhance your Attack instead.
When it comes to choosing Kinsects, it’s largely based on personal taste. However, our suggestion is the Mauldrome tree of Kinsects, as they specialize in Blunt damage. This makes them particularly effective at knocking out monsters by repeatedly hitting their heads.
Weapon Skills
Having Critical Boost as a skill is incredibly beneficial for any build with high Affinity. If you don’t have Critical Gems, then Attack Gems can be used instead. To achieve a 100% critical hit chance using the four-piece Gore Magala set, you’ll require Maximum Might level 3 and a weapon that has at least 20% Affinity, such as the Lala Stromatopelm.
Extending Duration of Kinsect Extracts is an additional technique players might find beneficial when wielding an Insect Glaive. Additionally, consider employing Handicraft, Keen Edge, or Master’s Touch to maintain your weapon in a higher sharpness level for extended periods.
