Total Chaos Unleashes Psychological Survival Horror in Latest Trailer Revealed at IGN Live

At IGN Live, Apogee Entertainment and Trigger Happy Interactive unveiled a fresh trailer for their forthcoming horror game, Total Chaos. Earlier showcased at the OTK Games Expo,

Total Chaos, developed by the creators of Turbo Overkill, transports players to Fort Oasis – a once bustling mining community now transformed into a desolate, haunted island. A sense of unease pervades this place as you’ll frequently feel like you’re being watched. And indeed, you are. Sinister creatures lurk within the ruins, waiting for the perfect moment to attack.

As adventurers delve deeper into the mystery, they’ll gradually discover shattered recollections and reconstruct the troubled history of this enigmatic isle. What transpired here? What ties bind you to it? Persevere through time, and perhaps you’ll learn the truth—before your mental fortitude falters.

The game combines traditional and contemporary elements of survival horror, offering nerve-wracking resource management, intense close-combat, and unsettling firearm action. Disturbing imagery and spooky locales create an atmosphere that is both eerie and ominous.

As a passionate admirer, I’d like to share that what was once a DOOM II total conversion mod, now transformed into a terrifyingly immersive standalone horror game, is none other than Total Chaos.

Key Features:

  • Nine Chapters of Dread: Explore Fort Oasis across nine story-driven chapters, each darker than the last.
  • Atmospheric Storytelling: Discover clues in notes, visuals, and flashbacks. The truth is buried deep.
  • Craft to Stay Alive: Build and upgrade weapons using what you scavenge.
  • Monstrous Enemies: Face terrifying foes, each with unique behaviors and attack patterns.
  • Survival Focused: Every item matters. Manage your inventory wisely and prepare for anything.

On July 24, 2025, Total Chaos will be released for Windows PC via Steam. Virtual Reality (VR) compatibility will be added post-release. Currently, a demo of the game is accessible. Interested players can add Total Chaos to their wishlist on Steam.
