Towards the Lighthouse, or Far Away Quest Guide

Find a way to make the lighthouse… stand up?

I’ve climbed many a lighthouse in my time as a seasoned adventurer, and let me tell you, the first one is always a treat. The path leading to the top is never easy, but that’s all part of the fun! Don’t be fooled by the seemingly simple instruction to go to the top and touch the light. There are plenty of interactive elements along the way that might catch your eye – “Lift as Hard as You Can!!!,” or “Push Hard!!!”. I’ve tried them all, and trust me, they may bring a chuckle, but they won’t yield any valuable rewards. So keep your focus on the ultimate goal: reaching the top of the lighthouse and touching that shining light.

Go to the highest island and hang the lamp at its highest point

Following that, make your way to the largest island by using the provided navigation. If you haven’t activated the teleportation waypoint there yet, you’ll need to access it through a distinct path, marked by large blocks to assist in crossing the terrain as shown in the image above. Rest assured, there is only one route to take so you won’t risk getting lost during your journey.

At the tree, have a conversation with Panuelle to advance in your quest. He’ll give you permission to decorate the tree with the light and provide information about your next objective.

Go to the “Whispering Isle” and make a wish to the three “goddess” statues

Make your way to the secluded isle at the very tip of Broken Isle. There, engage with each of the three statues you’ll find. Paimon will remind you that a sacred offering in the form of a weapon is necessary for this ritual.

Go to the “toytanium mines” and search for the “weapon”

As a gamer, I’d suggest this: Make your way to the mine using the quest navigation as your guide. But before you get there, take a detour and utilize the Magic Thread to cross over to the other side of that pillar. Once there, keep an eye out for a Toy bomb. Grab it with the Magic Thread in hand, then employ the thread once more to safely reach the mine.

Use the toy bomb to explode the wall and get inside it where the “weapon” is located.

Within the mine, there’s an object resembling a sword imbedded in the earth, much like Excalibur. However, instead of extracting it, drawing this out will cause Slimes to emerge – not an ideal solution.

Interacting with the gopher close by will cause it to bring out the sword for you to grab.

Go to the “Whispering Isle” and make a wish to the three “goddess” statue

As a gamer, I’d go back to the Whispering Isle and approach the two statues still lacking an item in their hands. I’ll place the weapon and the star into their grasp. Once done, sit back and revel in the unfolding cutscene, marking the successful completion of this quest.
