Tower of God Season 2 Dumbfounds Fans With Poor Animation and More

As a longtime fan of Tower of God, I’ve been through the highs and lows of this captivating tale. The first season left me spellbound, hooked on every twist and turn within the towering labyrinth. But alas, the second season has left me more bewildered than Bam himself.

The popular anime “Tower of God” has returned to our screens, leaving fans eagerly anticipating its second season for years. When “Tower of God” debuted with Telecom Animation Film, season one garnered rave reviews. In July, “Tower of God” made a comeback… and some fans have expressed their wish that it had remained unseen.

In the following slides, it appears that the second season of “Tower of God” has left viewers speechless, but not in a positive sense. The series seemed to fall into a creative rut during its extensive production phase. Notably, the production for season two was taken over by The Answer Studio, which led to a shift in staff. It seems that this change in creative teams may have had an adverse effect on “Tower of God,” and fans are finding it difficult to accept these changes, or rather, the perceived weakening of the series.

Tower of God Season 2 has been nothing but a downfall compared to first season.

There’s still a possibility that the second season of “Tower of God” could improve things, so manga enthusiasts shouldn’t give up on it just yet. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll, where season one is currently streaming in its entirety, and new episodes for season two are released weekly. For those seeking more information about the series, you can find the official synopsis below:

Ascend to the peak, and everything will be within your grasp. Atop the tower lies all that the world has to offer, and it can be yours for the taking. You might even rise to divinity. This is the tale of Rachel, the girl who scaled the tower to gaze upon the stars, and Bam, a boy who desired nothing more than her companionship.

The Prophecy Fulfilled

Initially, when the premiere of Tower of God Season 2 came out, I expressed my displeasure about the aesthetic and animation, only to face backlash. Now, it seems like everyone is shedding tears over that poor animation being a consistent element?

From There to Here

I found Season 2 of Tower of God quite disappointing after giving it a try recently. In contrast, I enjoyed Season 1.

Before and After

In Tower of God Season 2, they replay a scene similar to the one in Season 1, but this time it’s presented with a noticeably lower quality visual appeal. Instead, we see a more authentic depiction of soul extraction.

Doesn’t Feel Great

Something seems off about Tower of God Season 2… It appears they trimmed down quite a bit from the original webcomic, which makes the flow feel disjointed. Additionally, I think the direction could use some improvement. Tower of God truly deserves a more polished adaptation than what we’ve seen so far.

Go ahead and read source material.

(Dis)respect

Regrettably, the second season of “Tower of God” has been quite disappointing, astonishingly failing to live up to the hype generated by the first season. It seems that the creators may have missed an opportunity to honor the original work by its author and fans.

Let’s Be Blunt

To be extremely blunt…

There’s a lot of excitement about turning webtoons into anime, but the repeated poor adaptations have left many viewers quite wary.

If shows similar to Tower of God or High School King were given excellent adaptations, they’d quickly gain widespread appeal without much effort.

What’s the Agenda?

Anime agenda pushers want you to believe that this is what TYBW and MHA’s animation looks like

What a Shame

It’s unfortunate that we had to pause our coverage of the manhwa, knowing that season 2 was on its way. However, we’re excited to resume discussing the manhwa on our channel very soon and won’t be looking back!
