Towerborne Enters Early Access on September 10

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the anticipation for Towerborne has been building like a towering storm cloud, ready to unleash its gaming deluge upon us. Having followed Stoic Studio’s previous works, I am well-versed in their knack for crafting engaging and immersive experiences.

Among the numerous first-party games Microsoft is set to launch in 2024, Towerborne might not be the most anticipated, but it’s undoubtedly a title that many have been eagerly watching. Now, we have an exact release date for Stoic Studio’s side-scrolling cooperative action-adventure game.

At the Gamescom Opening Night Live event, it’s been officially confirmed that Towerborne will come out on September 10. However, this will be an early access version of the game. The full release has been postponed to 2025, with a specific launch date yet to be announced.

In a press statement, Microsoft acknowledged that Developer Stoic has effectively leveraged Early Access in developing their past games by involving the gaming community in shaping the final product. This strategy is being carried forward for Towerborne’s development, and Microsoft is fully supportive of this method, encouraging Stoic to develop in ways that will produce an outstanding game.

Over the next few days, Microsoft will be sharing additional information and gameplay footage for the game “Towerborne” during their Gamescom broadcasts. So, keep an eye out!

Towerborne is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
