The Mexican television community is mourning one of its brightest stars.
Daniel Bisogno, the long-time co-host of the entertainment news program Ventaneando, passed away on February 20th at the age of 51. This sad news was shared on social media by the show following his recent surgery.
With heavy hearts, we sadly must share news we never wished to bring: Our cherished Daniel Bisogno has just left us, following difficulties that arose from a liver transplant he underwent in September. [This message was translated from Spanish and shared on Instagram.]

Afterward, the network Azteca Uno paid homage to Bisogno, who started working on the show in 1997, by saying his laughter would remain forever in our memories.
Daniel Bisogno (1973-2025) showed us that even in tough times, there’s always space for laughter, according to the broadcaster’s Instagram post translated from Spanish. For 29 years on Ventaneando, his wit and charm made a lasting impression, but behind the scenes he was a kind and committed friend. About a fortnight later, Daniel’s brother, Alex Bisogno, graced the show “Ventaneando” on Feb 12th. He revealed that his brother’s health condition was still precarious. Moreover, he mentioned that Daniel had been admitted to the hospital multiple times, but expressed optimism that the journalist would one day regain his health and resume work.
