View Urgent ForecastIn February, the sequel to Daybreak 2 was released. The first chapter of Trails in the Sky, a stunning remake of the original game, is set for release in autumn/fall. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Trails beyond the Horizon (known as Kai no Kiseki in Japan) will be localized later this year too. That means a lot of Trails releases coming up!
Beyond the Horizon: Trail is the follow-up to Daybreak 2, continuing the story with Van Arkride as the main character. Similar to Trails in Reverie and the previously mentioned Daybreak 2, the narrative unfolds across various factions. Additionally, a beloved figure from the Cold Steel series, Rean, makes a return (alongside Kevin)!
It’s quite intriguing to watch if the launch times for Horizon and 1st Chapter will coincide, given that they are both aiming for an autumn or fall release period. Here’s hoping there won’t be much overlapping!
Interestingly enough, we find ourselves at a point where the West is about to match Japan’s familiarity with the Trails franchise. The most recent addition to this series, Trails beyond the Horizon, was just launched in Japan not long ago.
