For quite some time, there’s been talk about upcoming Transformers video games, but it seems one of those anticipated titles may no longer be in development. Recently, information about a canceled Transformer game titled “Project Goliath” has leaked, along with some artwork from the game that never made it past the concept stage. According to reports, this game was being developed by Skydance Interactive, but unfortunately, it’s no longer happening. The leaked images offer a glimpse into what could have been for this new Transformers video game.
As a dedicated fan, I stumbled upon some intriguing leaked images about an abandoned project within the Transformers universe, Project Goliath. These images, masterfully crafted by Adam Hartley, initially surfaced on X through various channels, but it seems they were first disseminated by @arun09345, a reliable source for all things Transformers. Accompanying these images are a few tantalizing tidbits of information about the project that never came to be. From the images, we can imagine what the game’s Transformer characters might have looked like, with models showcasing Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Besides pictures of famous Transformers in different shapes, the leaked photos also show designs for player characters’ exoskeleton armor or exosuits. These designs are reminiscent of the exo suit from the Paramount movie, implying that the game may have drawn some inspiration from this version of the Transformers universe.
What Would Project Goliath Have Been About?
It seems that the Transformers video game named Goliath, which wasn’t officially declared by Hasbro, has reportedly been scrapped. Since Project Goliath hadn’t been publicly announced, details about the type of game it could have been are scarce. The character designs give us a glimpse of what these characters might have looked like, but they don’t provide insight into the gameplay itself. It remains uncertain how far along in production this project was, making it difficult to determine what elements had already been finalized.
The recently scrapped Project Goliath succeeds a prior abandoned project, “Transformers: Reactivate,” which was terminated earlier in the year. This additional cancellation of a Transformers video game is disheartening for gamers who had high hopes following the company’s promises to allocate funds towards gaming projects. Despite not having an official announcement, leaked information reveals potential aspects of the game, leaving many Transformers enthusiasts disappointed that it’s not progressing as planned.

Fans are especially fond of the concept art for Optimus Prime that blends various versions of the character, yet it appears that the Project Goliath version may not materialize. As @arun09345 expresses in response to the news post, “Being a Transformers fan can be tough, but we persevere.
Reactivate” being shelved this year, it remains uncertain when we can expect a new confirmed Transformers game to appear on the horizon.
