The Transformers x Godzilla Synergenex Series Megtron merges the Decepticon leader with the God of Monsters into a convertible figure, swiftly transitioning between robot and kaiju modes. This collaboration brings together two beloved global franchises from Japan – Godzilla, celebrating its 70th anniversary, and Transformers, celebrating its 40th. To mark these milestones, two unique figures have been unveiled: Megatron Type Godzilla, based on Godzilla’s image, and Optimus Prime Type 3 Kiryu, modeled after Mechagodzilla. In the upcoming TV series and films, Transformers are expected to scan Earth vehicles and transform them.

What’s Next For Godzilla?

Even though a sequel to “Godzilla Minus One” might take several years, there are numerous kaiju ventures related to Godzilla’s universe slated for release soon. The third installment of the “Godzilla x Kong” series is scheduled for 2027, while Apple TV+ is actively developing the second season of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” and a spin-off series that maintains an enigma about it. Whether in Japan or North America, the monarch of monsters has quite a few significant projects lined up for him.

Will Transformers One Get a Sequel?

It remains undecided if Transformers 1 will receive a follow-up, but those involved in the movie are closely watching its performance to determine whether it warrants another installment. In future sequels, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura hinted at potential continuation of the story with a greater emphasis on character development, stating, “If we succeed with this Transformers film, we’ll make a sequel. We already have the foundations for an intriguing narrative for the second one, which will continue in a similar character-driven manner as the first.
