As a patient who has struggled with weight issues for most of my adult life, I can understand why some healthcare providers might consider prescribing Ozempic for off-label use to help their patients lose weight. However, it is crucial that we all respect the rules and regulations governing the use of prescription medications.
For the comedian, Handler, Ozempic is nothing to joke about. She discovered her doctor prescribed this medication, unbeknownst to her, with an emphasis on its anti-aging properties.
During the January 25, 2023 episode of Call Her Daddy, I was taken aback. I had no idea I was partaking in it, but she casually suggested, “If you’d like to shed five pounds, give this a try.”
