Jason Kelce can thank Travis Kelce’s cheer captain for his growth.

The host of the Late Night show openly acknowledged that he’s observed a noticeable transformation in his younger brother ever since he began dating Taylor Swift.

In a recent interview on the February 18th episode of the Fitz & Whit podcast, Jason, aged 37, expressed his astonishment by saying, “It’s been truly mind-blowing,” adding that “Travis has always remained young at heart. He’s like Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, never quite growing up.

In 2023, Travis, aged 35, initiated a relationship with Taylor, who’s also 35 years old. As per Jason, a person who has daughters named Wyatt (age 5), Bennett (age 3), and Elliotte (aged 23 months), and is expecting his fourth child with his pregnant wife Kylie Kelce, this relationship has been a beneficial influence on the star player of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jason remarked, ‘At times, you meet individuals who bring out the best in you, and that’s a positive aspect.’ Trav is maturing, but he still retains his youthful zest. I believe this spark will always be there, it’s just part of who he is, and one of the factors why every teammate enjoys playing alongside him.’

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romantic journey started in the summer of 2023. This was during Taylor’s Eras Tour, which happened to have a stop at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

As a big fan of Taylor Swift (Swiftie), the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs attempted to catch her performance, hoping to present her with a friendship bracelet bearing his number. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so because of her pre-performance routines.

Travis expressed his disappointment in not being able to give a bracelet he had made to her, as she doesn’t speak before or after her shows due to conserving her voice for the 44 songs she sings. This was shared on the July 26th episode of his podcast, New Heights.

Following his embarrassing mistake, which Travis would later call “purely metal,” he mustered up the courage to ask the Grammy-winning star to attend the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

He mentioned on The Pat McAfee Show that he had made an offer: “I suggested that you should perform at Arrowhead too, so that we can both see who puts on a better show.” He went on to say, “So I told her, ‘I’ve watched you light up the stage in Arrowhead, now it’s your turn to come and watch me do the same.’ Let’s wait and see what unfolds in the coming days.

At the time when Travis was first met by Taylor, he was sporting a mustache that he had grown earlier in August, specifically during training camp.

In his reflections on that period, he remarked, “For a while, my mustache and number 87 jersey were quite famous, and I was wearing them when I initially met Taylor.

According to a reliable source familiar with the matter, by early September, Travis and Taylor were exchanging occasional texts and having brief conversations.

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Following Travis’ invitation, Taylor attended the game with Donna Kelce, the athlete’s mother, at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer for him and the Kansas City Chiefs as they played against the Chicago Bears. After the match, pictures emerged of Taylor and Travis openly displaying affection at a nearby bar.
