As a seasoned gamer with memories of playing these iconic titles etched deep within my gaming history, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia upon hearing Square Enix’s latest announcements. The fact that Trials of Mana and Legend of Mana are now available on Xbox Series X/S, PC via the Microsoft Store, and even Game Pass Ultimate, is nothing short of a dream come true for this old-school RPG enthusiast!
During Xbox’s latest Tokyo Game Show broadcast, Square Enix made a significant impact, and while the reveal of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster for Xbox Series X/S was undeniably the main attraction, it wasn’t the only announcement they made regarding Microsoft’s platform.
Both versions of “Trials of Mana” (the remake) and “Legend of Mana” (the remaster) have now been released on Xbox Series X/S. The remake was initially launched on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC in the year 2020, while the remaster followed suit on these platforms a year later in 2021.
Not only have classic action RPGs made their debut on Xbox Series X/S, but they can now be played on PC through the Microsoft Store as well. Additionally, these games have found a home in both the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass libraries. You can watch their Xbox launch trailers below.
You can find both “Trials of Mana” and “Legend of Mana” on iOS and Android devices. Recently, a fresh main series installment called “Visions of Mana” was launched for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and personal computers.
