Triple H Addresses Brock Lesnar's WWE Future

As a long-time WWE fan, I’ve seen my fair share of shocking revelations and unexpected twists. But the recent allegations against Vince McMahon and the subsequent fallout have left me in a state of disbelief. The bombshell report in the Wall Street Journal about McMahon’s sexual misconduct accusations was just the tip of the iceberg. When former WWE employee Janel Grant came forward with her allegations, it felt like the rug had been pulled out from under us all.

In 2023, the Wall Street Journal released an explosive article about Vince McMahon, the former chairman of WWE, alleging sexual misconduct. As the legal proceedings unfolded, a former WWE employee named Janel Grant spoke out, claiming McMahon had sexually abused and exploited her during her employment. Following these accusations, McMahon stepped down from WWE permanently, having recently retired and then attempted to sell both WWE and UFC. Several prominent WWE executives were implicated in the lawsuit along with a former WWE Champion, who was alluded to but widely believed to be Brock Lesnar.

I was shocked when Lesnar disappeared from the creative plans for major WWE events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40, which was scheduled to feature big names such as The Rock, John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Charlotte Flair. It seemed like Lesnar had never even been a part of WWE, with all traces of him erased. Since last summer’s SummerSlam in Detroit, where he lost to Cody Rhodes, I haven’t seen Lesnar in the ring. Many fans have been speculating if he’s still under contract and if we can expect a comeback at some point. Finally, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque is shedding some light on the situation.

Will Brock Lesnar Return to WWE?

During a recent trip to London, WWE announced their possible plan to hold the first international WrestleMania in the city. When asked by Daily Mail about Brock Lesnar’s return, Paul Levesque replied, “You need to ask Brock Lesnar himself about that. He tends to do as he pleases, likely enjoying time with his family in Canada and watching his kids play hockey. If and when he feels like coming back, we are open for discussion” (Source: POST Wrestling).

About a year since Lesnar’s last broadcasted WWE performance, Cleveland, Ohio will play host to WWE’s SummerSlam event next weekend. Several exciting matches are planned, showcasing some of the best superstars. In terms of title bouts, Cody Rhodes will put his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Solo Sikoa, the presumed head of The Bloodline. However, this encounter might not last long.

Liv Morgan faces the challenge of Rhea Ripley, who is determined to reclaim the Women’s World Championship title she feels was rightfully hers since her comeback. According to plan, Drew McIntyre is set to go head-to-head with CM Punk in his first bout since being injured during January’s Royal Rumble. The tension between these two has been escalating on TV for months now, and they’ve even taken their feud to social media.
