Trista Sutter and Ryan Sutter are feeling positive about his health.
The pair who tied the knot in 2003, having met during the initial season of The Bachelorette, announced approximately 3.5 years back that Ryan had contracted Lyme disease. Now, after 21 years of marriage, Trista is joyfully sharing that her husband’s health has significantly improved.
She shared with TopMob News’ Will Marfuggi on an exclusive basis that, in her opinion, he’s approximately 80% recovered. She clarified this by stating that Lyme disease can be challenging because not everyone finds a cure through the same medication or treatment method. Instead, each person’s recovery journey is unique.
As stated by a 52-year-old individual, Ryan (who has a 17-year-old son named Maxwell and a 15-year-old daughter named Blakesley with her) underwent numerous treatments to reach his current state. She mentioned that he is generally “fairly well-behaved.
She pointed out that he might have a poor day for any number of reasons, making it hard to tell if he’s merely unwell or dealing with Lyme disease fatigue. However, she noted that he’s generally in better health compared to a couple of years ago when he was quite ill. To get more insights from Trista, tune into TopMob News tonight, January 14, at 11 p.m., and don’t miss her on season three of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, airing Wednesdays on Fox.
In the year prior to 2021, Ryan, aged 50, was fighting a prolonged health issue. Eventually, he was diagnosed with Lyme disease, an ailment often transmitted through a tick bite, which put a strain not only on him but also on his partner, Trista.
She expressed on her “Better Etc.” podcast that it had been tough for her. Seeing the person she loves the most battling hardships was heart-wrenching. He is a strong individual, but even he couldn’t hide his emotions during this time. All she could do was support him, so she advocated on his behalf. That was her course of action.
As per Ryan, before he received a diagnosis, he would experience unexplained itching all over his body and have quite intense headaches.
As a die-hard fan, let me tell you, I’ve never felt anything quite like the exhaustion and agony I went through during certain periods in my life. It was unlike any experience I had ever known before, as if reality itself had drained every bit of energy from me.
The firefighter clarified, “I’ve accomplished quite a bit that left me exhausted, but what I experienced just now went far beyond simply being tired.
Despite gaining a better understanding of the illness, it remained challenging for the couple to discover effective methods to alleviate his symptoms.
On the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast, Trista sadly admitted, “Life’s been tough for me ever since his diagnosis.” She continued, “I yearn for him to recover. I long for him to wake up refreshed every day. I desire for him to spend quality time with our family and create cherished memories. But when he doesn’t feel well, it diminishes the joy of life.
Trista added, “I’m not doing great…I’ve been struggling for sure.”

Following her brief departure from Gerry Turner’s season on “The Golden Bachelor,” Joan Vassos later became the star of the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelorette.” It was during this show that she met and got engaged to contestant Chock Chapple.
In the finale of “The Golden Bachelorette” in November 2024, Joan expressed her optimism, stating, “Life has thrown many things at us, but even at our age, there is always hope.” This heartfelt declaration was made moments before Chock proposed to her in the enchanting setting of Bora Bora. “I’ve been waiting for this special moment in this incredible location,” Chock said, “to tell you that I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. I look forward to waking up next to you every morning and kissing you goodnight.

In the season finale of “The Bachelorette” (season 21), it seemed like former contestant Jenn Tran, aged 26, had found her blissful ending with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, during a post-final interview in September on “After the Final Rose”, Jenn disclosed that Devin, aged 28, turned cold towards her as soon as filming ended and the cameras stopped rolling.
During the September 3rd show, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer that the man she was involved with had been expressing passionate declarations of affection one moment, and then the next day seemed indifferent and denied ever having loved her. She stated that all the assurances he had given her about his love and commitment were no longer present.
As an overly passionate admirer, I couldn’t help but be captivated as Devin unfolded the narrative of our shared fascination on Instagram with a heartfelt 13-minute video. Not only did he acknowledge his role in the events that transpired, but he also delved deeper into the reasons behind his decision to part ways, eloquently expounding upon it during an extended 15-minute phone conversation.
In August, I was utterly heartbroken when Jenn accused me of ending our relationship over the phone. However, from my perspective, I had been struggling to tell her in person that things weren’t working out, and her insistence on knowing what was wrong only made it harder for me to find a graceful way to let her go.
He said, “I wasn’t sure what other option I had,” implying that he had been holding off on telling her face-to-face. In essence, she made the decision for him.
Ever since then, I’ve found myself making my way towards “Dancing with the Stars,” and it seems like fate has brought me closer to my dance partner, Sasha Farber. There’s been a growing buzz about our relationship ever since we were eliminated on October 29th, sparking rumors that have yet to be put to rest.

Last November, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I saw Greg Grippo, one of Katie Thurston’s suitors from The Bachelorette the previous year, team up with Victoria Fuller on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise. And let me tell you, their announcement that they were an item had me beaming! However, come April 2024, my heart sank as he shared the news that they had parted ways.
Initially, Victoria Fuller and Johnny DePhillipo were engaged, but before they made their relationship official on the finale of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ season 8, they had parted ways.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I am thrilled to share that in the chilly month of November 2023, my heart skipped a beat when I said “Yes” during the grand finale of the pioneering season of the Golden Bachelor television show. Fast forward to January 2024, we exchanged vows in a captivating televised wedding ceremony, officially becoming husband and wife. It’s an incredible journey that I am grateful to embark on with my beloved Theresa Nist.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
During their interview on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry explained, “Through many deep discussions and careful examination of our circumstances, including our living situation, we’ve reached a mutual understanding that it seems appropriate to end our marriage.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

After dating 32 potential partners, tennis player Joey Graziadei finally found his ideal partner in project manager Kelsey Anderson. Overwhelmed with excitement, he couldn’t wait any longer to express his love to his chosen one during the March 2024 finale of their season. “I can hardly contain myself any longer to tell you that I am deeply in love with you,” Joey said to his final rose recipient. “There is something about you that captivates me. You radiate an energy that makes me joyful, an emotion I’ve never felt before.” Dreaming of a lifetime with the woman from Louisiana, he continued, “For a while, I knew I wanted a wonderful life, but I had no idea just how wondrous life could be until I met you.
Despite not initially connecting during season nine of “Bachelor in Paradise”, underwater welder John Henry Spurlock and nurse Kat Izzo decided to take a chance on each other. On the show, John expressed his feelings by presenting an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond, stating, “I’m going to try something a little different… I’m following my heart today. My heart tells me that you are amazing, you are everything that I’m looking for.” However, shortly after the season finale, they announced that their careers paths were diverging and they no longer saw forever together. They expressed gratitude for the love and support they received from their families, friends, and the “Bachelor Nation”.
In the end, despite her apprehensions about the proposal in Paradise, elegantly attired Eliza Isichei (formerly linked to Clayton Echard) gleefully accepted Aaron Bryant’s oceanfront proposal. Delighted by his thoughtful gesture of seeking approval from her mother, she exclaimed, “I couldn’t predict what words would escape my lips.”

Nurse Kylee Russell was disappointed that her boyfriend Aven Jones refused to propose – a step he supposedly intended to take when courting Bachelorette Rachel Recchia. However, she eventually agreed to his proposal on “Paradise,” stating, “Let’s get out of here and make it work.”
This decision left her engagement dress untouched. She explained, “I had to do what I felt was right. Love involves taking risks.”
Two days after their finale aired in December 2023, she revealed on Instagram Stories that their relationship had ended due to several instances of infidelity. Aven later apologized to Kylee through an Instagram post, acknowledging his mistakes and the pain he caused her: “I have made serious errors in our relationship and hurt someone very dear to me.
Charity Lawson playfully shared her satisfaction with the current season’s outcome with TopMob News, a sentiment that didn’t quite capture the grandeur of her upcoming August 2023 finale. In a romantic gesture reminiscent of a fairy tale, integrative medicine specialist Dotun Olubeko declared their love as “perfect,” posing the question to Charity, the child and family therapist, “Will you accept this proposal and make our fairytale come true?”
Although they haven’t yet set a date for their wedding—with possibilities in 2025 or 2026—Charity is first set to grace the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars. As Dotun expressed his excitement during The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, “I know you love to have fun, to dance, and to enjoy yourself. We’ve talked about this opportunity, and I am thrilled to tell you that you’ll be competing on Dancing With the Stars! Let’s do this!

Zach will have his fairytale conclusion. Despite a few mishaps during the Fantasy Suite, Zach Shallcross concluded season 27 in March 2023 on one knee. He expressed to travel nurse Kaity Biggar, “I am so in love with you,” he said. “You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.”
In July 2023, the Texas-based pair made an even larger stride in their journey as Kaity posted on Instagram, “Now officially living together.” They’re currently arranging their October 2025 vows.
Their relationship status: They’ve parted ways. Despite a promising start, Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who found themselves as potential Bachelor Nation power couple contenders following their appearance on Nick Viall’s season, have ended their relationship. After moving from Nashville to Ohio to be with him, Allio confirmed the split in a podcast episode with Jason Tartick in September 2023. He expressed his sadness over the breakup, stating that they had invested a lot into the relationship and it was unfortunate when it didn’t work out. He went on to explain that when relationships don’t succeed, and you realize that love is present but compatibility is lacking, one grieves not just for the person and friend lost, but also for the future that was once imagined together.
Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on the seventh season of Paradise, expressing his eternal love for her. However, their relationship didn’t last as they announced their split five months later in a joint Instagram statement. They explained that maintaining their relationship privately amidst public scrutiny had been extremely challenging. Despite the pain and heartbreak, they asked for understanding and requested no negativity.

Minnesota elementary school teacher Michelle accepted a Neil Lane sparkler from Texas-based sales executive Nayte Olukoya, as well as a $200,000 check from producers to contribute towards their future home. However, the couple didn’t have a strong enough bond, announcing their separation six months after their season finale aired in December 2021.
Although he mentioned on ‘The Viall Files’, “There were many highs and lows, lots of disagreements, arguments, and fights, and not really connecting or seeing eye-to-eye”, Nayte admitted that not having the final conversation about their split in person was a poor decision.
Michelle started dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they announced their engagement the following year.
As a devoted fan, I found myself completely invested in the dream that Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian were weaving for a future filled with peaceful Sunday mornings. However, our time together as a dynamic duo from BIP season seven was tragically brief, spanning only a handful of weekends.
In a joint statement issued in January 2022, patient coordinator Maurissa (who had a romantic connection with Peter Weber) and attorney Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors), revealed their decision to part ways. “We never thought this would happen,” they shared, “but we have reached a point where we both need to focus on our personal growth.

Essentially, they desire what is best for each other’s futures and at this moment, that means growing separately.

In essence, despite Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer calling it quits during the seventh season of The Bachelor in Paradise, they found that they could see an endless future in each other’s eyes. Later in October 2023, Thomas reciprocated Becca’s sentiment. Their first child, a son named Benson, was born in September 2023. Becca shared on Instagram, “Our love and admiration for our little man are beyond words.” Interestingly enough, they tied the knot in an impromptu ceremony just weeks after Benson’s arrival, on October 13th of the same year.

The author of “First Impressions: Off Screen Conversations With a Bachelor on Race, Family, and Forgiveness” shared with TopMob News in 2022 that their relationship moves at its own pace. “We’ve seen other couples rush engagements and they’re no longer together,” he said. “I believe we have a successful formula and will reach our goal.

Pete shared on Instagram, “Though our bond held many cherished moments, unfortunately it couldn’t sustain in the long run. However, Kelley remains someone I hold a profound affection for.

After the intense 2020 finale, the couple shared on Instagram that they wouldn’t be continuing their romantic journey. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will persist.
In her declaration, Madi expressed that she would forever cherish and hold in high regard the person mentioned. She is certain that their lives intersecting was fate-driven, and it has undoubtedly improved them both.
Status: Split
During season 24 of The Bachelor, Peter and Hannah Ann were in a brief engagement. Regrettably, by the second part of the finale, it emerged that the couple faced challenges just a month into their exclusive relationship. More specifically, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she learned about Peter’s ongoing feelings for Madison during that time.
She stated, “All I’ve truly desired was a reciprocal wholehearted commitment. That’s what I’ve given to you, yet it seems it was taken away. The first promise you made to me was taken from me. This is so because I put my trust in you, and that’s exactly what you’ve consistently asked me to do – be patient with me, have faith in me.
Their journey has taken a significant turn since their days on the road. Despite Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes parting ways during season six of “Paradise” in 2019, they have been inseparable ever since.
Having gotten engaged in 2022, the former beauty queen tied the knot with her cohost from the podcast “Help! We Suck at Being Newlyweds” at a rustic wedding in the Colorado mountains on September 23. In an interview with TopMob News before the ceremony, Caelynn expressed her heartfelt feelings, saying, “I just love him so much. I’m just so excited to be marrying someone who is such a good person, who makes me laugh every day, even when I’m upset. I think our life together is going to be really fun.
