True Beauty Announces Season 2 With New Year’s Promo

As a long-time fan of Korean dramas and manga, I must say that the renewal of True Beauty for a second season has me absolutely thrilled! Having followed the webtoon since its inception and then watching the K-drama adaptation, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster. And now, with the anime adaptation, it feels like I’ve stumbled upon a fresh take on a familiar story.

The cliffhanger at the end of Season 1 was enough to make me bite my nails down to the quick! I mean, Jugyeong kissing Seojun after a drunken night? Oh boy, that twist has left me with more questions than a philosophy exam. The anticipation for Season 2 is palpable, and I can only imagine the drama that’s in store as the story unfolds.

I can’t help but wonder if Suho will be heartbroken or seek revenge, or perhaps both? Will Jugyeong choose Seojun over Suho, or will she find herself torn between the two? And let’s not forget about the shipping wars that are sure to erupt among fans!

For those who have been rooting for Seojun and Jugyeong since the beginning, Season 2 of True Beauty’s anime is definitely one to look forward to. But for now, all we can do is keep our eyes peeled for more updates, which I hope will come sooner rather than later.

On a lighter note, I can’t help but think about how Jugyeong’s makeup skills might come in handy if she ever finds herself in a real-life drama. Maybe she could give the cast of Gossip Girl a run for their money!

Previously winning over fans as a webtoon and K-drama, Yaongyi’s popular coming-of-age series, “True Beauty,” caught everyone off guard with another adaptation this year – an anime version. Created by Studio N and Cocktail Media, the anime adaptation of “True Beauty” left fans craving for more, particularly after the jaw-dropping cliffhanger in the season finale. Fortunately, the series has now been officially renewed for a second season.

As someone who has followed the manga and anime adaptations of K-dramas for years, I am thrilled about the renewal of “True Beauty” for a second season. The announcement feels like a delightful surprise, especially since it’s already in production. Growing up in Korea and being exposed to traditional Korean attire like hanbok, I find the New Year’s themed illustration captivating – the trio of Jugyeong, Suho, and Seojun look elegant and full of life in their Hanboks. Although we don’t have any specific release details for season 2 yet, the swift renewal suggests that fans can expect a speedy return to this delightful world. I’m looking forward to seeing more of “True Beauty” and eagerly awaiting further updates on its second installment.

True Beauty Promises A Second Season Full Of Drama

As a massive fan, I can’t help but express my excitement over the latest adaptation of “True Beauty” into an anime! Compared to the popular K-drama starring Moon Ga-young, Cha Eun-woo, and Hwang In-yeop, this anime offers a truer-to-life portrayal of the original webtoon. The commitment to following the webtoon more closely necessitated a second season to fully unfold the story. While the K-drama reached a satisfying conclusion within 16 episodes, the anime barely grazed the surface of the entire tale, only covering around 60 of the webtoon’s 200+ chapters.

Above all, the first season of “True Beauty” anime ended quite dramatically in Episode 13, with Jugyeong kissing Seojun following a night of intoxication. This surprise development not only sparked many questions about her future relationship with Suho but also made a second season an absolute necessity. Without giving away too much, the second season of “True Beauty” is expected to ramp up the drama and fan debates over relationships if it stays true to the webtoon’s storyline, as it seems destined to introduce new, unforeseen romantic connections and heart-wrenching breakups.

Fans of the K-drama “True Beauty” and those rooting for Seojun and Jugyeong’s potential relationship are eagerly awaiting Season 2 of the anime adaptation. Unfortunately, we can only wait and watch for further announcements about its release, hoping it arrives soon.
