Trump Over Sheen? Jon Cryer’s Shocking Presidential Pick

Jon Cryer would prefer to have his Two and a Half Men costar in the Oval Office.

Nine years following the labeling of President Donald Trump as the “political equivalent of Charlie Sheen,” the 60-year-old has reaffirmed this sentiment, but with an added nod towards his former co-star.

During an episode of The MeidasTouch Podcast on April 23rd, Jon expressed, “I believe it’s evident that many of the challenges Charlie encounters would make him a more suitable president.

In the early 2010s, Jon and Charles (formerly known as Carlos Estevez) experienced a high-profile disagreement. This dispute arose when the actor from ‘Platoon’ was dismissed from the CBS sitcom, which was subsequently taken over by Ashton Kutcher. At that time, Jon attributed their disagreements to Charlie’s battles with substance abuse and the unpredictable behavior that resulted from it.

Nevertheless, the actor from “Pretty in Pink” made it clear that comparing his previous co-star to Donald Trump might not always be just, given their distinct backgrounds.

He clarified, “What I was trying to highlight is that when I made the remark, Charlie was still on a rant, spewing his ridiculous ‘tiger blood’ statements. Trump, too, has been known to say outrageous things because people often dismissed them as harmless and didn’t hold him accountable for those remarks.

However, regarding Trump’s actions, Jon acknowledged that the president’s ease in expressing himself directly contributes to his appeal for many people.

He went on saying, “People see him as genuine,” but in reality, he’s like the elderly man at the bar who believes he has all the answers about how the world ought to function, yet ironically, he’s more of a failure.

TopMob News has attempted to contact both The White House and representatives for Charlie, yet we are still awaiting a response.

What did Jon mean by his initial comparison of Charlie to Trump? Essentially, Jon argued that he’d been noticing similarities between them for some time and had been vocal about it, as if shouting it from the rooftops.

During the May 2016 episode of the Never Not Funny podcast, prior to the presidential election, Jon expressed his feelings about Charlie Sheen: “I genuinely like him, and I enjoyed collaborating with him when he was sober. However, he can be quite deceitful.

He’s deeply entrenched in a severe habit,” he continued. “His habit isn’t necessarily drugs, but rather an obsession with feeling significant or important, which is evidently quite profound.

Since his controversial remarks, Charlie has dedicated time to personal growth and has publicly announced that he has been sober since the year 2017.

Come next month, I’ll mark six years of living clean, I shared with People in December 2023. Nowadays, my life is remarkably steady, filled primarily with the joys and challenges of fatherhood to my 14-year-old twin boys, Max and Bob.

Despite not having spoken to Charlie since their television show ended in the year 2023, as mentioned by Jon himself to Entertainment Tonight, he still voiced his encouragement for Charlie’s personal growth and experiences. This Charlie is a father to Cassandra Estevez (40), Sami Sheen (21), Lola Sheen (19), alongside his children with ex-partner Brooke Mueller, as well as having kids with Denise Richards.

To clarify, he pointed out his joy at Charlie making up with Chuck Lorre, the creator of “Two and a Half Men,” following their well-publicized dispute from years ago. Remarkably, Jon expressed interest in reprising the role if there were plans for a revival of the show featuring Charlie.

“I don’t know that he knows my number anymore,” Jon admitted, “but anything could happen.”

He shared with Vanity Fair: “People should understand that Tan and I are doing well.” He added, “There was an incident, which is a private matter between us, unrelated to the show. It’s something personal that has been developing over time, and let me make it clear, it wasn’t romantic in nature.

By March 2024, Tan addressed accusations that he was trying to have his acquaintance, Jeremiah Brent, take over from Bobby on the show “Queer Eye”.

He stated on Instagram that Netflix and the production companies conducted a thorough casting process. He didn’t recommend his friend for the role, as they were instead chosen because they were the most suitable candidate for the job. However, he did not secure the position for his friend by eliminating someone else in the process.

In a December 2023 episode of her podcast “Let’s Be Clear”, Holly Marie Combs, who used to star with Shannen on the show “Charmed”, claimed that Alyssa had demanded a choice be made between herself and Shannen to a producer on the show. This alleged ultimatum is said to have resulted in Shannen leaving the show in 2001.

In February 2024, Alyssa posted on Instagram, “I didn’t possess the ability to terminate anyone’s employment,” and she also stated that “the passage of time has made any recounting of these incidents by anyone an account of revisionist history.

The next day, Shannen stated at a MegaCon Orlando panel, “I’m not witnessing any reinterpretation of the truth that I hold to be accurate.

Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

In September 2023, while engaging in a game titled “Stir the Pot” with her daughter Kelly Osbourne on TopMob News, Sharon remarked that Kelly’s co-star from That ’70s Show was the most impolite celebrity she had ever encountered. He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, I shared with Larry King that when Ashton graced the stage on The Talk in 2014, there was a hint of attitude from him when I mistakenly called him by the wrong name.

She reminisced, “‘Who are you, and what’s your background in this field?'” he had asked. “To which I responded, ‘Child, be careful because I can consume you and discard you.’ Essentially, ‘You don’t understand the situation, child.’

In August of 2022, Cassadee and Maren found themselves in a verbal dispute with Brittany, who is married to country music star Jason Aldean, following Brittany’s Instagram Reel post on August 23rd. The post showcased Brittany applying makeup, and she captioned it as a thank you to her parents for not altering her gender during her tomboy phase, expressing her love for the feminine lifestyle.

In the 2022 TikTok challenge, JoJo Siwa labeled Candace Cameron Bure as the most unfriendly celebrity. She shared that she felt disrespected when Bure declined to take a photo with her on a red carpet event. However, not long after this comment, the actress from Full House expressed regret and apologized to JoJo: “I think I hurt your 11-year-old feelings by not taking a picture with you. I’m really sorry, JoJo.

Initially, they reconciled their differences. However, several months down the line, Candace was posed a question regarding whether the Great American Family network, where she holds the position of chief creative officer, might portray same-sex couples as main characters in holiday movies. She responded negatively, further stating that the network would uphold traditional marriage as its foundation.

JoJo, who publicly identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, shared on Instagram that the actress’ remark was “unnecessarily disrespectful and painful towards an entire group of individuals.

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had used her band Hole’s album cover without giving proper credit for a promotional shot. Rodrigo responded with “I love you and live through this so much.” To which, Courtney replied playfully, “Olivia, consider it as a compliment! My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London. Message me if you’re interested in the details! I can’t wait to read your response [winking face emoji].

During an interview on “Watch What Happens Live”, the actor from “Happy Days” was questioned about his strained relationship with the star of “Forrest Gump” while filming the movie “Turner & Hooch” in 1989.

For 13 days, I had been overseeing the movie production, but then suddenly, I was summoned to Jeff Katzenberg’s office where he told me, “You’ve got all you need? Pack up and head home.” He spoke those words.

Winkler appeared to be friendly towards Hanks’ canine costar. He stated, “We got along wonderfully, really well. I adore that dog.

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Supporters of the TV show “The Hills” may recall that well-known phrase, spoken by Lauren during the season three opening. The conflict between them originated when Heidi started dating her current spouse, Spencer Pratt, and reached its zenith when Lauren alleged that Heidi and Spencer had spread a rumor about her making a sex tape with Jason Wahler.

A long-standing dispute between costars flared up again when Tyrese publicly criticized Dwayne on Instagram after the release date for Fast and Furious 9 was moved to April 2020. It turned out that very same day, a Fast and Furious spinoff featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham was scheduled to hit cinemas in 2019. A month later, Tyrese expressed his intention to leave Fast 9 if Dwayne was involved.

Later on, Tyrese spoke openly about the dispute during an appearance on the “The Red Pill” podcast with Van Lathan, saying, “Up until now, I haven’t had a chat with The Rock, but we will engage in dialogue.” He mentioned that he had a conversation with The Rock’s production partner, but not with the actor himself.

Tyrese admitted that he was the one who publicly shared thoughts on behalf of several individuals connected to the business, while others didn’t. He acknowledged that his actions were unprofessional and inappropriate.

No more bad blood here.

For several years, Taylor and Katy were embroiled in a long-standing disagreement, rumored to have been the inspiration for Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which apparently began due to a shared backup dancer and conflicting tour schedules, was finally resolved when Perry extended an olive branch, quite literally, before Taylor’s Reputation Tour commenced.

In a recent Instagram video, Taylor expressed, “Just entered my dressing room and discovered an authentic olive branch. This gesture holds such deep meaning for me.

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For many years, speculations of a rift between co-stars Kim and Sarah Jessica Parker from the show “Sex and the City” had been put to rest. However, these whispers resurfaced when Kim opted out of appearing in the third film, and subsequent remarks she made about her fellow actor sparked intrigue among fans.

In a September 2017 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Andy Cohen inquired about Sarah Jessica Parker’s response to Kim Cattrall stating that they were only colleagues, not friends.

She expressed her feelings by saying, “I am completely broken-hearted. For an entire week, we discussed this matter extensively as it left me feeling very distraught, as what happened doesn’t align with my memories of our shared experiences.

She went on to say, “It’s unfortunate, but somehow…I can’t quite put it into words, but the shared experience we had seems to be the bond between us. Though it was a professional journey, over the years, it turned personal. I hope that this long-term connection overshadows any recent discussions.” She added, “Sharing so much time doing something extraordinary has been an exceptional privilege for us.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Since 2004, these renowned musicians have been engaged in a long-standing dispute. During the Q Awards of that year, Elton John, while receiving the Classic Songwriter Award, made a remark to the audience: “Madonna, considered best live performer? Absolutely not! Since when is miming live? I apologize, but I believe anyone who lip-syncs in public on stage, especially when you’ve paid around 75 pounds to see them, should be criticized.

In 2008, the actress who used to star in Grey’s Anatomy ignited a disagreement with the show’s creator by deciding not to be considered for Emmy Awards. She explained that she took this step because the scripts she received didn’t offer her enough compelling content to warrant a nomination.

Later on, Shonda spoke candidly about Katherine’s choice during an interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter with Oprah Winfrey in 2012. She expressed, “On one hand it hurt and on the other hand I wasn’t shocked. When someone reveals their true nature to you, take their word for it. That’s something I hold onto a lot. It has been beneficial for me.”

During the New York Fashion Week, the world was buzzing about an intense argument between Nicki and Cardi that unfolded at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon event. A few weeks later, Cardi publicly shared what had sparked the disagreement with Nicki.

In an interview for W magazine’s Art Issue, Cardi stated, “She’s been aiming a lot of criticisms at me for some time now. We’ve talked face-to-face on two occasions, and reached an agreement. However, she persisted in continuing the disagreement.

The main cause of the argument erupted when Cardi B noticed that Nicki Minaj apparently favored and later unfavorited a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting abilities, an action Nicki Minaj has disputed.

Cardi B stated that she had been set to earn millions from her Bruno Mars tour, but chose to stay with her daughter instead. She added, ‘I adore my daughter. I’m an excellent mother.’ It seems strange for those without children to judge this decision, but try as they might, they won’t find Cardi B at a party with another artist in the supermarket or nearby.

The conflict between Kanye and Taylor Swift initially surfaced in 2009 during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, as Kanye, the rapper known for “Stronger,” interrupted her moment. Although they reconciled years later and even developed a friendship, their relationship deteriorated once again in 2026 following the release of his song “Famous,” which mentions Taylor Swift, the singer behind “End Game.

On February 2025, a day prior to the Grammys, Kanye made an update to his Instagram account, choosing to follow only Taylor. Without any additional explanation, Kanye’s actions remained unexplained, and Taylor chose not to publicly comment on this change in their social media connection.

“I don’t know her.”
